The greatness of the squash insect, in raising its family

Hi Hiveans ... Meeting me again, in this very simple blog

Squash insects, Coreidae or bamboo plant lice, look different when they are young, when they enter adulthood, the pattern on their body will change, this change is very different from the pattern when they enter the adult stage, namely, brown with several different patterns.

This type of lice, which is one of the species that live and breed on this small ornamental bamboo plant, will have clear differences in its body, both in terms of pattern and color. When aged 1 day to two weeks, the color and pattern can be seen a striking difference, with adult bugs, the difference can be seen below.

The stark difference between mature and young, on a growth

Number Mature Young
1 Dark brown, found in every part of the body Faded red color visible on every part of his body
2 The disappearance of the pattern with the typical size shape, and looks empty in every place of the upper body There is a regular pattern in every part of the upper body and in some others
3 Have wings that are parallel to the upper body It has no wings, what is visible is the bone where the wings grow forward
4 The composition of the skin layer on the abdomen is not clearly visible, due to the body's development process The upper and lower abdomen, carved a regular stroke

I personally often find them nesting in ornamental bamboo plants, where a swarm of black ants passing by and even sitting in a comfortable location. Meanwhile, in the dense density of small decorative bamboo poles, a cool and comfortable atmosphere is created, even though the sun is scorching hot.

Seeing its existence in ornamental bamboo plants that are often used by humans as fences or other interests in a yard, it is assumed that this species really likes a cold atmosphere like black ants with all their characters in a situation.

When the female lays eggs, she will look for every narrow object in a situation, then the easy location to find is the plants mentioned above, while other locations are considered unsafe because they are controlled by several other species and become their main enemy, whether predatory species or insects, which has irresistible power.

The character of the search for a new location, which is carried out by the parent is also assumed to be a discoverer of new land, by having the nature of not wanting to be disturbed or disturbed, which our residents call as the originating insect or the insect that creates new land.

So it's not surprising that sometimes someone sees them flying around new fields, with their behavior of examining each plant, sometimes seen pacing back and forth in a location. This indicates that the mother is ensuring a secluded location from other species.

When the mother has succeeded in detecting a suitable location, then the main nest is made as a hatching location for eggs, and the new location will also become a nest forever as long as the plant is still there.

The selection of locations in these ornamental bamboo plants, is often located in every corner or neighborhood of bamboo fractures or simply put in a complicated location visible to humans and difficult to reach by insect-eating birds. While ornamental bamboo plants that grow sticking upwards create a bird's view and become a narrow location for special hunting activities, if a bird forces its will, it will automatically get stuck with the small stem of the plant itself.

It is extraordinary, the way of thinking (instinct) of this one species, or having a great intelligence ability to protect the young when they hatch later. While the small baby size in large numbers can attract the attention of every insectivorous bird, besides the former shells from hatching have a sweet taste, this is known and clearly visible from the character of black ants who often hunt these shells in one area. For him, the presence of black ants does not consider the danger and the predators move the load not because it is not because of their children.

Visually in a field, then personally see for yourself they have hundreds of eggs and all those eggs hatch in one point (location mentioned above). Amazingly, the children are always together, never separate from a colony like ants in a colony. This behavior is also assumed to be at the direction of its parent and so that it is always safe and secure from predatory attacks.

In one location, where there are many babies, the mother is always monitored and alerted, if not monitored by the mother, it will become food for predators. The greatness of the mother in supervising and always overseeing all the movements of her children makes every part of the family always obey the rules until the baby's body looks mature.

Methods that are based on natural laws, are considered successful in managing their families, and excellent in raising their children, so it is clear that ornamental bamboo plants have hundreds of this one species or even more.
