Hello interesting insect hunters!
A few days ago I found a beetle on a cassava leaf, the first time I only saw a beetle perching on a cassava leaf and I tried to approach it and it turned out that I found a few more on another leaf.

As it seems this place has indeed become a nest for these insects and most of them make nests in logs and bamboo, they are borer insects. I saw some of them have different colors with the same pattern, it seems that the male has a yellow color with black stripes and has a smaller body but is different from the female because of its orange color and black stripes with a rather large body.

Tiger beetle is a good name for this insect because of its unique color which is very similar to the king of the forest. However, we are more familiar with this insect by the name Bambo borer (Chlorophorus annularis if you want to know in more detail about this one insect, just click on the red writing.

Here are some pictures from different angles that I took of these insects to share in this wonderful community I hope you will have fun and enjoy.

Thank you
