🦋Pues bien tienen que saber que la pavo real blanco es una especie de mariposa encontrada en el sureste de Estados Unidos, en América Central y gran parte de América del Sur. También se encuentra en la mayoría de las islas del Caribe. Esta habita en jardines, bosques claros, matorrales, llanuras, huertos de cultivos y praderas herbáceas.
Well you have to know that the white peacock is a species of butterfly found in the southeastern United States, in Central America and much of South America. It is also found on most of the Caribbean islands. It inhabits gardens, light forests, thickets, plains, orchards, and herbaceous meadows.
🦋Esta mariposa tiene alas gris claro por arriba y están rodeadas con bordes anaranjados y marrón. El ala superior tiene un punto negro y el ala inferior tiene dos puntos más pequeños por arriba. Las alas por detrás son de un patrón similar pero más tenue y con unas bandas anaranjadas rojizas delgadas y no continuas.
This butterfly has light gray wings above and is surrounded by orange and brown edges. The upper wing has a black dot and the lower wing has two smaller points above it. The rear wings are of a similar but fainter pattern with thin, non-continuous reddish-orange bands.
🦋Por ultimo quiero agregar que es una especie amante del sol. Principalmente en las mañanas cuando puede ser vista tomando el sol en el suelo o en el follaje bajo. En el día en que las temperaturas suben, descansa en lugares semi-sombreadas en el borde del bosque o se asienta a la luz del sol con las alas erguidas. Por las tardes cuando la temperatura comienza a sumergirse, estas mariposas comúnmente disfrutan en la parte superior de hierbas gruesas y hierbas.
Finally I want to add that it is a species that loves the sun. Mainly in the mornings when it can be seen basking on the ground or in the low foliage. On the day when temperatures rise, it rests in semi-shady spots at the edge of the forest or sits in the sunlight with its wings upright. In the evenings when the temperature begins to dip, these butterflies commonly enjoy on top of thick grasses and grasses.
