Simple but amazing 🐝

Hi all... How are you today? Of course very fine

As written at the bottom of the foot of the image in the initial sequence, he is a ciwet dragonfly or Scholar (zoologist) clarifies as Pantala flavescens. This species was identified and entered into the family Libellulidae. You can see it in detail or more perfect and more in the link that has been added on the side πŸ‘‰ Wikipedia.org

Capung ciwet (Pantala flavescens)

Actually I really like dragonflies, even though I'm a woman but gender doesn't prevent all these hobbies, why? because when we look deeper and deeper into all the characters that come from it, then at the same time, seeing the great wonder of this one insect, sometimes every morphology becomes a reference for intellectuals to make objects that are often guided, from species that are often overlooked. Dragonflies are often used as examples for the needs of human life, such as air transportation in the form of helicopters and several other objects that are often developed.

Then another thing that makes him interested is his shape and physique, it also attracts anyone who looks at it more closely, especially when talking about his morphology, it's really very cool and fun.

I saw them as beautiful as butterflies, having some amazing colors with unique and elegant features. Besides being beautiful, it also functions as an important role in the balance of ekosistem.

From the results that have been mutually known that they are located anywhere, where there is a beautiful location then that's where they dominate an area, but they are often seen in every area such as :

  1. Rice fields
  2. Forests
  3. lakes
  4. and, any area that has stagnant water as a place to lay eggs and raise small larvae.

However, in this era, especially in our area, it is often seen that they dominate a coast that has wild plants that have little standing water that does not flow.

In zoology says that, dragonflies have several body parts in the head region such as :

  1. Spina or sharp protrusions resembling teeth
  2. Have a labium or lower jaw
  3. Jaw teeth or resemble teeth

Dragonflies also have blood vessels called jala, and hair-like shapes located on the head are antennae often referred to as short antennae, have a slender body resembling a stunning profile, have transparent wings that are very light and have small muscles that reside in wing core, mouth that characterizes like chewing, compound eyes, slender and sturdy legs become a component of the body that is very amazing when I see it, so it is very interesting to always observe it.

I was very amazed to see a dragonfly perched on one of the petals of a bluish-red flower, this flower was pinned by our residents here as a flower at four in the afternoon that grows and blooms in a different time and space. Although dragonflies do not pollinate flowers, they often meet in one life between dragonflies and flowers in their respective lives.

They are a species that often roam every branch and love every branch of the plant whether dry or not, always everywhere, and always seen in every twig and sandy ground, like a man who rules and dominates every area, without having to do anything.

That is, without the need to disguise themselves in any environment, even in the nests of other insects, they are free to be anywhere, and become the purpose of life for every dragonfly, liking wild plants that grow and develop in every location, this behavior is specialized as a perch. His hobby is being on each branch not for food, only as a shelter. Dragonflies are only wary of several birds of prey who often deceive and kill every step of their escape as a way to save themselves.

Although sometimes caught, but able to read or pick up skill signals from each predator, which is specifically for him, they still have their own tricks to avoid attacks, unless they are careless, therefore they are often seen standing in locations protected by branches, as a barrier from the sight of intruders, so that leaves or other circumstances are able to cover all predatory sights. Covering every predator's gaze also happens instinctively from each location of his choice. This also makes the predator bored and eventually the in a disappointed state of not getting anything from its prey.

Uniquely, and sometimes seen in the field, when predators are stalking it, then on that occasion the dragonfly has also hunted other small insects. When he was trapped he was still able to use the opportunity to hunt other insects that were off guard.

They are very agile and very sharp in predicting something from everything. Amazing and really really amazing.

Very nice post @luecas !! .. great captures, good classification and description of dragonflies ^^ .. I really like your presentation and added this one here to the DNA Identified and Described Species library πŸ€—

Thank you very much @adalger !!... For your appreciation of me, your presence in this blog, is a big motivation for me, in writing on hive.blog.
