The butterfly you see in my post is one of the many species found in our region of Indonesia. Some people here call it Kupu-kupu Harimau Biasa while in common language scientists are as The Plain Tiger or often referred to by Indonesian scientists as Danaus chrysippus.
Why is it called the Kupu-kupu Harimau Biasa? Because our people always give a name that has examples of other well-known animals, it just so happens that the body pattern or features resemble that of the Sumatran tiger.

The uniqueness that can be seen from my vision is that it has a medium wing size which means that when compared to each species it is a butterfly with medium wings that is neither large nor too small, the point is that if we take a photo from a distance of 2 meters its body can still be seen and capture by every smartphone of medium type too, and the image results are also satisfying.
Then another uniqueness is that it has extraordinary advantages over other butterfly species, because it has the potential for poison to stick and stick to each wing of its scales, why? So that this butterfly is reluctant to be hunted by any butterfly predators, except for animals that have anti-toxins from their own bodies so it is safe to consume this form butterfly's body.

The potential for its wings to support some of the poison which then melts into its body began when it was still in its second phase when it became a larva. The mother is very good at choosing leaves that contain poison when consumed by her child in the form of larvae, and then the larvae are also able to control the poisonous substances in their body. So that it becomes her favorite food in the meat in her life as a larva, without harming her body or dying due to the influence of poisonous substances possessed by the leaves chosen by the parent when laying eggs.

When female butterflies are about to lay eggs, they choose leaves that contain substances such as Adenia SP which are dangerous for human consumption, in our area it is often seen in every wiedurie plant that has a poisonous sap that causes paralysis of butterfly predators. In general, here we always take starch or sap from the leaves for external medicine, such as pulling out the prominent flesh or Geutut (in Acehnese) that grows in the skin area. The sap will break down the extra flesh tissue that often grows and sticks to a person's body due to bad bacteria.
In general, the poisonous substances that have attached to each butterfly's scales are found in many female butterflies and to find out the species is very easy because it is seen on each smooth, saw-shaped wing tip around every wing stroke or shape. If you see it with a tool such as a microscope it will see very sharp colors, or you can see it with a camera that has a high zoom capacity.

Although it has fragile and weak wings, it is able to adapt in several location conditions, such as dry areas, plantations and also in coastal areas. In Indonesia, this butterfly is very common and can be seen in several areas in the country such as :
