Wonderful experience with Towny Coster the butterfly leeghendharies

in Insects Of The World3 years ago (edited)

Hello Guys ... How are you today?

(Acraea violae or Towny Coster)

This past week, we often find the figure of the Towny Coster butterfly in our area, precisely in front of our own house, last Friday at around 01:59 they were seen perching on one of the ornamental plants growing in front of our house. Precisely he was perched on a red Graceful zinnia flower, while today it happened again, at around 07.00 Towny Coster butterfly also visited the plant but on a white Graceful zinnia.

However, the days that have passed, they are Si Towny Coster seen flying around the plants that are blooming in front of our house, coincidentally my wife really likes to plant them in every corner of the front of the house with the aim of beautifying, the appearance of the yard, so that it looks green and beautiful. The result of his work or creation besides producing beautiful results also attracts every type of insect that happens to pass by and likes it too.

As mentioned above, these Towny Coster butterflies often come, but are reluctant to approach them, maybe this looks foreign to them, because basically our yard that has been overgrown with some beautiful flower stalks makes them foreign to visit. Moreover, the location is precisely in an area that is active with children's activities. In addition, the condition of the location in front of the highway made it uncomfortable and scary for him.

Seen there are two small and different butterflies with unusual patterns, not the owner who often dominates the area, because the ones who often visit here are tiger-patterned butterflies or something. As you can see in the picture that the Towny Coster butterfly replaces the butterfly itself as the ruler of the territory, and often dominates every area of flowers that grows in our yards.

I watched them for an hour, with a note that I wanted to take a photo, because I don't have a camera that has a high zoom, so I was forced to use my personal smartphone camera type VIVO Y12, but here there is stressful hard work, why?

To get good results by having a makeshift camera, you have to approach the image object about 0.50 meters. But the Towny Coster is very wild and very alert to every move. In this case, I always fail to aim properly and accurately, so I have to retreat with it by about 1 meter.

`Towny-Coster`
When standing at a distance of 1 meter, this butterfly looks calm and still, as if it ignores my presence, but unfortunately every shot is not satisfactory because the photos are blurry and unclear. I repeatedly deleted every photo, from all positions that were not good. However, I tried to approach him slowly, but he felt my movement and then he flew to another location. The phenomenon did not make me despair and still hope that he will come again to this graceful zinnia flower stalk, in a short time.

For more than 15 minutes I waited for him, while sitting quietly at a distance of 0.50 meters, it turned out that my waiting had paid off. The Towny Coster was seen flying again towards the flower. Before he landed they were circling at the range he predicted, I knew he was just making sure of a safe presence.

The wait that ended satisfactorily, this butterfly, perched again in the initial location, and he stood close to me, then I prepared my cellphone and took aim at him carefully, and finally I managed to take 6 photos of him, with different positions.

This luck, only happened briefly because he flew back and never landed here again, was caused by several boys running, then the butterfly was spontaneously startled by the sound of the children's stomping feet plus the sound of screaming calling for its co-stars.

I managed to get 6 bright photos, because I took them only briefly, if you count it only took 2 minutes, but the wait was very long. That is what is called a business in a job, of course with real hard work I am not confused and in my opinion this is a struggle in the face of the wild, maybe friends here have also experienced events like this when looking for photo objects to write on hive.blog this.

If you have had this experience when looking for a photo object and exactly a similar experience was repeated to you, you might be upset and that's a natural thing because we are humans too. Anxiety is a human legality in accepting and experiencing uncomfortable things.
