Este hermoso insecto que capturé en imágenes tenía un largo de 3 centímetros, pero lo más curioso es que parecía que no tenía alas en realidad quedé con la inquietud.

La esperanza de vida de este insecto es de unos 12 meses y pasa por 6 cambios de muda en ese periodo de tiempo, y para alimentarse usa sus poderosas tenazas para sujetar a su presa y comérselas prácticamente Viva.
