Octopider - Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge.

Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Octopider in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

Octopider is a death monster that's of reward edition.
This monster have ranged attacks for what this monster can attack from any position except the front position unless the battle has any special ruleset and it has an ability called demoralize which unlocks from level 3 that reduces the melee attack of all enemy monsters.

For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle using the theme card and you should talk about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle.

The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.

There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.

Battling procedure with Octopider :
As you'll need to battle with Octopider so you need to play the battle using death splinter as Octopider is a death monster.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I had to play this battle with death splinter to showcase the battle of Octopider as that's a death monster, I chose my death splinters summoner.

Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.

There I chose Undead rexx, Furious chicken, Prismatic energy, Octopider.

Buying procedure of Octopider card(s):

First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.

My lineup for this battle:

The mana cap for this battle was 28 with standard ruleset and friendly monster team had four monsters against the enemy monster team with three monsters.

Undead Rexx:

Undead Rexx is a common dragon monster that I've in level 1.

I used Undead Rexx in that position as it's a melee attacker that can't attack from any other position than the first position. It has nice powers such as 5 melee attack, 2 speed, 9 Health in level 1.
It's an 9 mana monster.

Furious Chicken:

Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.

I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low.

It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.

PRISMATIC ENERGY:

PRISMATIC ENERGY is a rare neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used PRISMATIC ENERGY at that position as it is a magic monster that can attack from anywhere and it has big powers such as 1 magic attack, 3 speed, 9 Health in level 3.
It's an 8 mana monster.

OCTOPIDER:

OCTOPIDER is a rare death monster that I've in level 1.

I used OCTOPIDER at that position as it is a ranged monster that can't attack from the front position and it has big powers such as 3 ranged attack, 3 speed, 7 Health in level 1.
It's an 8 mana monster.

In the battlefield:

Link to the battle.

Prismatic energy of the friendly monster team attacked for the first time in round 1.

Then Octopider of the friendly monster attacked the same monster that Prismatic energy attacked and that monster of enemy monster team died out of the big ranged attack of Octopider of the friendly monster.

Then Centaur of the enemy monster team attacked Furious chicken of the friendly monster team and that friendly monster died out of that attack. Now both team had one monster missing. Then Undead rexx of the friendly monster team attacked and Fire beetle of the enemy monster team died out of the big melee attack.

Then Prismatic energy of the friendly monster team attacked the last monster of the enemy monster team and Octopider of the friendly monster team then attacked on that enemy monster as well and that monster died.

Octopider of the friendly monster team attacked and killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.
