Very good morning my dear readers, I hope you are very very well in this new week, the truth is that I didn't post here since last week because I was a little sick, but fortunately I am well and I am here again to share with you a new work and in this case it is a Fan-Art about a very well known character from the anime of my childhood, that's right it is Freezer from the Dragon Ball Z anime; in this case I focused on creating the character but with a slightly different appearance and more to my own style of drawing and painting, with more shadows and a little more volume and detail than in the anime style:
Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores, espero se encuentre muy muy bien en esta nueva semana, la verdad no publicaba por aquí desde la semana pasada pues me encontraba un poco enfermo, pero afortunadamente ya me encuentro bien y estoy por aquí de nuevo para compartirles una nueva obra y en este caso se trata de un Fan-Art sobre un muy conocido personaje de los animes de la infancia, así es se trata de Freezer del anime de Dragon Ball Z; en este caso me centre en crear al personaje pero con una apariencia un poco diferente y mas a mi propio estilo de dibujo y pintado, con mas sombras y un poco mas de volumen y detalle que en el estilo anime:
PROCESS / PROCESO
I focused a little in the sketch part in creating a drawing structure that would be familiar to the eye, so that everyone who saw my drawing would immediately realize that it is the evil character of one of the first arcs of the Dragon Ball Z anime; after getting that drawing structure that I wanted in my own style the next thing I did was to start coloring or painting the whole drawing with some primary colors, I started with some light gray colors and some grays with a tendency to a little blue tones.
Me enfoque un poco en la parte de boceto en crear una estructura de dibujo que resultara familiar a la vista, de modo que todo el que viera mi dibujo se diera cuenta inmediatamente de que se trata del malvado personaje de uno de los primero arcos del anime de Dragon Ball Z; luego de conseguir esa estructura de dibujo que yo deseaba a mi estilo propio lo siguiente que hice fue comenzar a colorear o pintar todo el dibujo con algunos colores primarios, inicie con algunos colores grises claros y algunos grises con tendencia a los tonos un poco azules.
After having the primary colors for Freezer's skin the next thing I did was to give it a proper volume so that it didn't look flat like in the anime and also to show my own style in this work; after getting the proper volume for the skin the next thing I did was to paint the characteristic details of the face such as the character's red eyes which make him look much more intimidating, plus the lines that go from where the eyes end to the lower part of the jaw, to which I also gave them a little volume.
Luego de tener los colores primarios para la piel de Freezer lo siguiente que hice darle un volumen adecuado de modo que no se viera plano como en el anime y también para que se viera mi estilo propio en esta obra; luego de conseguir el volumen adecuado para la piel lo siguiente que hice fue pintar los detalles característicos del rostro como los son los ojos rojos del personaje lo cual lo hacen ver mucho mas intimidante, además de las líneas que van desde donde terminan los ojos hasta la parte baja de la mandíbula, a las cuales les di también un poco de volumen.
Next for this drawing was the creation of the details of the shoulders, arms and Freezer's skull, the truth is that this was the part that I liked the most to paint because I tried to give the appearance of brightness to these areas that are like a different material than the skin, for this I created many layers and in each one I added a little volume, then some shadows and finally some final shines and so I got an effect or a crystal-like appearance in these special details of the character and that are found in much of his body.
Lo siguiente para este dibujo fue la creación de los detalles de los hombros, brazos y del cráneo de Freezer, la verdad esta fue la parte que mas me gusto pintar pues trate de darle esa apariencia como de brillo a estas zonas que son como de un material diferente al de la piel, para esto cree muchas capas y en cada una fui añadiendo un poco de volumen, luego algunas sombras y por ultimo algunos brillos finales y así conseguí un efecto o una apariencia como de cristal en estos detalles especiales del personaje y que se encuentran en gran parte de su cuerpo.
Finally I decided to complement the work with a good background, in this case I focused on creating a background that was like a kind of open galaxy and that Freezer was floating in it, because as you know survive as if nothing in the atmosphere of space, so I created a blue base and then I gradually created some stars and planets; and to finish this work I created a kind of energy in the palm of Freezer's hand as if he was about to destroy a planet for fun with his powers, plus some additional brightness complemented everything perfectly.
Ya por ultimo decidí complementar un poco la obra con un buen fondo, en este caso me centre en crear un fondo que fuera como una especie de galaxia abierta y que Freezer se encontraba flotando en ella, pues como sabrán sobrevivir como si nada en la atmosfera del espacio, por ello cree una base de azul y luego fui poco a poco creando algunas estrellas y planetas; ya para culminar un poco esta obra cree una especie de energía en la palma de la mano de Freezer como si estuviera a punto de destruir por diversión algún planeta con sus poderes, además de algunos brillos adicionales complementaron todo perfectamente.
