Today with a drawing of beautiful porcelain tableware, where symmetry must be present to be able to delineate the sketch freehand.
The lines are softer in the part that reflects the light, and in the opposite part the shading is more raised. The white color of the leaf gives the color of the earthenware, blurring the lines that give it shading.
