Lockdowns, containment zones, quarantine zones, and shelter-in-place orders. That's the news every day and the part of this pandemic that concerns and affects every single one of us. These terms are pretty much the same just to different degrees and can, by the way, be used by local authorities interchangeably. Here's the recent headlines I have been seeing here in the United States:

I expect we will be confined to our homes all over the country at some point. It will start around the major cities and expand out from there. Entire states here already have mass closings and restrictions on gathering. I am indeed personally expecting travel restrictions between states. I also think we will see more and more orders to "Shelter-In-Place". That sounds so much better than Mass Quarantine Zones enforced by the National Guard and local authorities.

You can not leave your home without permission and paperwork. That's the final goal here and it is being implemented in steps so the populace does not freak out, fight, or run.
This is why you see people cleaning out the stores. We know. We know where this is going and that we will be on our own. It's not just the virus itself that we need to work together and survive. It's the reaction to the situation. Both our reaction and that of those who have authority over us.

"The order prohibits gatherings outside and required nonessential businesses to close. Essential services such as grocery stores, pharmacies and banks will stay open."
I expect NY to be next and like I said above, this will expand. How long before we need paperwork? Have a plan.

Howdy tonight squirrelbait! What kind of plan can we have if they require paperwork to go outside? I'm not asking for me since I'm in the country anyway. I think after this is over people are going to be buying any little place out of the city that they can.
