Flores de Botellas Plásticas | Flowers from Plastic Bottles esp/eng

in Hive Diy2 days ago

ENGLISH

Greetings, friends of the Hive DIY community. Today I present these plastic flowers, which I made from soda bottles as a way to reuse plastic.

Materials
Transparent and green plastic bottles
Scissors
Adhesive tape
Red and green cold paint
Wire
Candle
Natural rods
Silicone

Steps

First, I cut a transparent bottle in half and then cut the plastic into petal shapes. Next, hold the petals close to a candle to make them curl.

Then I used wire and tape to attach the petals. I made the pistil with yellow wire, attached a piece of yellow bag, and cut the sticks. Then I gathered the petals around the wire with tape.

After getting the flowers, I took out some leaves with a green bottle. I followed the same steps.

Then the flowers and leaves are painted. Several marks are left so that they look like veined petals.

I used natural sticks to attach the flowers and leaves.

Finally, I made a vase out of half a green bottle. I cut out some green plastic decorations and glued them around the bottle with liquid silicone. I held them in place with hair clips until the silicone dried.
This is the final result.

I hope you liked the idea and find it useful.
