Flores de Papel Crepé | Crepe Paper Flowers esp/eng

in Hive Diy10 days ago

Greetings to all our friends in the Hive community. Today I present these red and green crepe paper flowers.

Materials
Crepe paper, Silicone, Floral wire sticks, Thread, Branches, Scissors

Steps

First, cut the petals out of red crepe paper. I cut two types of petals, some more rounded than others.

Shape the petals with scissors to make them wavy.

Then cut the floral wires into small pieces and wrap them with a strip of green crepe paper. For the pistil, place another piece of paper on the tip and cut it a little. Secure it with thread.

Then the petals are placed and attached to the stem with thread. One is placed under the other and shaped by hand. Green paper leaves are also cut out, glued to a wire stick, and placed on the stem.

This is what a finished flower looks like. I made other flowers of various types, which you can see in the photos.

Finally, to make a bouquet, I gathered several dry branches from my garden and tied them together with string. Then I placed the flowers on each branch and covered the joints with more green crepe paper.

This is the final result. I put the bouquet in a vase and it makes a beautiful decoration for the house. I really liked the result, I hope you do too.
