From architecture, sculpture, jewelry, mummification, writing and astronomy, the Egyptians culturally speaking have left us great technological advances for their time, to certain sciences until the sun of today there are still many mysteries that have not been solved by historians, paleontologists and archaeologists. However, the evidence and the great findings have allowed us to know a little more about Egyptian culture and in one way or another bring us closer to its time, so for my creative craft of the day I wanted to recreate one of the greatest inventions of the Egyptians, and it is that they were not only in charge of mummifying their kings and queens so that their bodies did not decompose in a new life, they have created sarcophagi that allowed the bodies contained in them not to deteriorate over time and remain intact . So I wanted to make a sarcophagus to protect my jewelry, I would like to share my craft and show you how I did it.

Desde la arquitectura, la escultura, la joyería, la momificación, la escritura y la astronomía los egipcios culturalmente hablando nos han dejado grandes avances tecnológicos para su época, a ciencias ciertas hasta el sol de hoy aún existen muchísimos misterios que no han podido ser resueltos por historiadores, paleontólogos y arqueólogos. Sin embargo, las evidencias y los grandes hallazgos nos han permitido conocer un poco más la cultura egipcia y de una u otra forma acércanos a su época, por lo que para mí manualidad creativa del día quise recrear una de las mayores invenciones de los egipcios, y es que ellos no solo se encargaban de momificar a su reyes y reinas para que sus cuerpos no se descompusieran en una nueva vida, ellos han creado los sarcófagos que permitían que los cuerpos contenidos en ellos no se deterioraran con el tiempo y se mantuvieran intactos. Por lo que quise elaborar un sarcófago para resguardar mi bisutería me gustaría compartir mi manualidad y enseñarles como lo hice.

Used materials:

• Carton box.
• Pattern of the sarcophagus previously made.
• Stick silicone with your gun.
• Liquid silicone.
• Paints: yellow, gold, black, blue, red, wine red, green, white brown.
• Brushes: thick, medium and for lining.
• Black cloth or felt for the inside of the sarcophagus.
• Pair of scissors.
• Pencil.
• Rule.

Materiales utilizados:
• Caja de cartón.

• Pinturas: amarilla, dorada, negra, azul, roja, vino tinto, verde, marrón blanca.

Start of my craft:

Take the pattern of the sarcophagus and with the pencil mark twice on the cardboard box and cut out with the scissors. Also, measure some 6cm wide strips and other 2cm wide strips the size of the sarcophagus and cut out. Then roll the strips a little to give them malleability and glue the 6cm wide strips with the hot silicone around the edge of one of your sarcophagus-shaped figures and on the other figure, glue the 2cm wide strips along the entire edge To form the lid of the sarcophagus, make sure both boxes can be closed easily.

Toma el patrón del sarcófago y con el lápiz marca dos veces en la caja de cartón y recorta con las tijeras. Take the lid of the sarcophagus and begin to paint the entire relief. First take the red wine color, paint the central figure and also the other two sections, with the brown color paint the king's face and part of his neck, with the blue color paint the upper part of the king's scarf, the three half circles. central and horizontal rays. Use the brush to outline and sharpen the edges.

Toma la tapa del sarcófago y comienza a pintar todo el relieve. Toma primero el color vino tinto pinta la figura central y también los otros dos tramos, con el color marrón pinta el rostro del rey y parte de su cuello, con el color azul pinta la parte superior de la bufanda del rey, los tres semis círculos centrales y las rayos horizontales. With black and red, make the squares in each of the lines. Also paint with the yellow color the eagle under the blue semicircles and the hieroglyphs in the vertical lines, with the white color paint the eyes and add the other details to the painting.

Con el color negro y rojo realiza los cuadrados en cada una de las líneas. Pinta también con el color amarillo el águila debajo de los semicírculos azules y los jeroglíficos en las líneas verticales, con el color blanco pinta los ojos y agrega los demás detalles a la pintura.

To finish, with the pattern cut two pieces of felt or the fabric that you have found. Also cut some 6cm strips, apply liquid silicone inside the sarcophagus and completely line the inside of it.

Para finalizar, con el patrón corta dos pedazos de fieltro o la tela que hayas encontrado. También recorta unas tiras de 6cm, aplica silicón liquido en el interior del sarcófago y forra por completo el interior del mismo.
