Hola amigos! Es grato dirigirme a ustedes en esta oportunidad para mostrarles un nuevo producto de manualidades, se trata de un gnomo de Navidad para que forme parte de la decoración de la casa.
Hello friends! It is a pleasure to address you in this opportunity to show you a new product of crafts, it is a Christmas gnome to be part of the decoration of the house.
Continúo en Guatire, Miranda, Venezuela en casa de mis hermanas. Pensando en retomar la idea de hacer un gnomo; busqué los materiales que necesitaba para la elaboración del adorno. Salí con una de mis hermanas y compré silicón frío y en barra, foami con escarcha y sin escarcha pero para hacer otras cosas.
Una vez que encontré una botella, se me ocurrió que podría hacer el gnomo, así que puse manos a la obra con materiales que tenía mi hermana en su casa.
I am still in Guatire, Miranda, Venezuela at my sisters house. Thinking about taking up again the idea of making a gnome; I looked for the materials I needed for the elaboration of the ornament. I went out with one of my sisters and bought cold silicone and silicone sticks, foami with frosting and without frosting but to make other things.
Once I found a bottle, it occurred to me that I could make the gnome, so I got to work with materials my sister had at her house.
Los materiales:
Botella de vidrio, silicón frío y en barra, un pedazo de tela de prendas de vestir usadas de color piel y otro de color verde, un tapabocas usado, bolsas plásticas, un pedazo de foami escarchado, un pedacito de cartón, un pedazo de foami negro, estambre blanco, tijera y pistola de silicón.
The materials:
Glass bottle, cold and stick silicone, a piece of fabric from used leather-colored garments and another one in green, a used mouthpiece, plastic bags, a piece of frosted foami, a little piece of cardboard, a piece of black foami, white yarn, scissors and silicone gun.
Procedimiento / Procedure
1- Lo primero que hice fue forrar la botella con los pedazos de tela.
1- The first thing I did was to line the bottle with the pieces of fabric.
2- Hacer la barba con las bolsas recortando en pequeñas tiras para luego pegar en la botella y darle la forma de barba.
2- Make the beard with the bags by cutting them into small strips and then glue them on the bottle to give it the shape of a beard.

3- Hacer nariz, brazos y pies o zapatos.
-Con el tapabocas hice los brazos, quitando el borde de cada extremo donde van las ligas. Doblar el rectángulo varias veces y pegar para cortarlo en dos partes iguales.
3- Make the nose, arms and feet or shoes.
-With the mouthpiece I made the arms, removing the edge of each end where the rubber bands go. Fold the rectangle several times and glue to cut it into two equal parts.
-La nariz sale de un círculo con la tela color piel y se rellena con recortes de bolsa.
The nose comes out of a circle with the skin-colored fabric and is filled with bag cutouts.

-Los guantes se recortan del pedazo de tela verde pero primero se dibujan para recortar, coser y rellenar.
-The gloves are cut out of the green piece of fabric but are first drawn to cut out, sew and stuff.
-La forma de suela de zapatos, se hacen con cartulina y se forran con foami negro.
-The shape of shoe soles are made with cardboard and lined with black foami.

4-Hacer un cono para el sombrero y decorar. Pegar las piezas para armar el gnomo.
4-Make a cone for the hat and decorate. Glue the pieces to assemble the gnome.
Como ven es sumamente fácil elaborar este lindo adorno navideño hecho en su mayoría con material reciclable. Espero les haya gustado. Quiero hacer otro con una media pero no me decido todavía. Gracias a todos por sus comentarios y apoyo.
