El titulo lo dice todo, no todos los días tenemos ganas de dibujar ¿Estas de acuerdo? peeero cuando se trata de cumplir un reto que te haces a ti, hay que sacar ganas de donde sea para no perder. Siga y le cuento como me fue en mi día 3.
The title says it all, not every day we feel like drawing, do you agree? But when it comes to meet a challenge that you make to you, you have to find the will from wherever you can so you don't lose. Follow me and I'll tell you how my day 3 went.
Día 3: Tortugallo / Day 3: Tortugallo
Amanecía extrañada con un sueño, en el aparecieron varios animales y entre ellos una especie de híbrido entre tortuga y gallo que estaba en un flotador en una piscina, lo normal.
Este día me tocaba trabajar por lo que no pude comenzar a dibujar desde temprano. Llegue a mi casa casi a las seis de la tarde, estaba cansada y con una gripe que no me esta dejando vida. Todo este día en mi mente estuvo siempre "debo sacar el tiempo para mi dibujo número 3", pero al llegar a mi casa mi cuerpo me decía otra cosa.
Recuerda que esta serie de dibujos es un reto que yo misma me puse para ver si logro crear el hábito de dibujar diariamente y ya en el día tres quería tirar la toalla como quien dice. Sin embargo, muy a pesar de todo el drama que tenia armado para no dibujar ese día, dejé el teléfono a un lado, saque mi libretica y mis marcadores y comencé a trazar las primeras lineas de este curioso animal.

I woke up in a strange dream, in which several animals appeared, among them a kind of hybrid between a turtle and a rooster that was on a float in a pool, the usual.
This day I had to work so I couldn't start drawing early. I arrived home almost at six o'clock in the afternoon, I was tired and with a flu that is not leaving me life. All this day in my mind was always "I must find the time for my drawing number 3", but when I got home my body was telling me something else.
Remember that this series of drawings is a challenge that I set myself to see if I can create the habit of drawing daily and already on day three I wanted to throw in the towel as they say. However, in spite of all the drama that I had prepared for not drawing that day, I put the phone aside, took out my notebook and markers and began to draw the first lines of this curious animal.
Al tratarse de un híbrido fui directo a Pinterest a buscar referencia tanto de tortugas como de gallos para tener una idea de la forma de estos animales. Otro tiempo más para procrastinar porque como tu bien sabrás, Pinterest tiene muchísimas formas de distraerte.
Since it was a hybrid I went straight to Pinterest to look for reference of both turtles and roosters to get an idea of the shape of these animals. Yet another time to procrastinate because as you may well know, Pinterest has plenty of ways to distract you.
Soy de ese tipo de personas que necesita querer sinceramente hacer algo para que salga bien y la verdad es que en el día 3 no quería hacer absolutamente nada.
Ciertamente esto no es una obligación, no me voy a ganar un premio, ni me están evaluando por esto, es más un compromiso, una meta que estoy decidida a cumplir.

I'm the type of person who needs to sincerely want to do something to get it right and the truth is that on day 3 I wanted to do absolutely nothing.

Al final creo que de este dibujo no me convenció el estilo, también hubiera funcionado hacer la criatura desde otros puntos de vista porque ojo, si me gusta la idea de hacer animales híbridos, me parecen una buena forma de ejercitar la creatividad, pero si hay que hacer varios bocetos.
In the end I think that I was not convinced by the style of this drawing, it would have also worked to make the creature from other points of view because I like the idea of making hybrid animals, they seem to me a good way to exercise creativity, but if you have to make several sketches.
Estaba indecisa con esta publicación, no quería que vieras este tortugallo, sin embargo el es parte de este proceso en el que estoy trabajando. No solo debemos observar y dar crédito a lo que hacemos bien, es importante aun más detallar aquello que no nos termina de convencer para así poder aprender.
I was hesitant with this publication, I didn't want you to see this turtle, however he is part of this process I am working on. Not only should we observe and give credit to what we do well, it is even more important to detail what we are not convinced of so we can learn.
