Hola amigos y amigas de Hive, en especial a los presentes en la comunidad Hive DIY. Me satisface mucho poder estar nuevamente con ustedes hoy en mi segunda publicación, y compartir con ustedes esta manualidad creativa y educativa que he realizado.
Como he mencionado anteriormente, mi nieta tiene 6 años y en cuanto a educación, se encuentra aprendiendo las letras del alfabeto. Por ello, para ayudarle he decidido armar este Abecedario Didáctico que me ayudará a practicar con ella el reconocimiento de las letras del mismo. Me gusta el uso de métodos creativos para educarla, pienso que no hay nada más saludable que aprender mientras se divierte jugando.
El Abecedario Didáctico
La etapa de aprender muchas veces resulta en un paso bastante complejo, es una situación o percepción que varía en cada niño o niña. En el caso de mi nieta, hemos estado practicando los sonidos y conocimiento de las letras a través de un libro de primaria habitual llamado: Mi Jardín. Pero, he notado que se le complica un poco, la manera de hacerlo un poco menos tedioso, fue de realizarle este abecedario didáctico en materiales de reciclaje y foami, para así ejercitar a través del juego el reconocimiento de las letras y su posición u orden.
La dinámica o manera de uso:
El abecedario se encuentra plasmado en una base de cartón, para esto he usado una caja tipo rectángulo de un antiguo teclado que compré hace algo de tiempo. He distribuido de manera equitativa las letras que componen el abecedario, dejando dos líneas que se dividen en 14 letras por cada una. A su vez, también con palitos de altura, he dado a cada letra un par. Esto, para poder extraerlo del mismo y así jugar tipo memoria, donde el niño o niña debe ubicar y colocar en pareja las letras. Para darle más tiempo de vida útil, he cubierto la superficie con cinta transparente.
Materiales
- Una caja rectangular o cuadrada, dependiendo de la que dispongan
- Foamis o papel lustrillo para forrar la superficie de la caja. También una lámina para realizar las letras
- Silicon
- 1 página blanca
- Marcador
- Pega blanca
- Cinta transparente
- Palillos de altura
- Tijera
- Regla
Instrucciones
Vamos a cortar el foami y forramos a gusto la base. Yo solo he cubierto la parte superior, que es la que realmente me interesa. Aconsejo el uso de colores claros y unicolor. Pegamos el foami con silicon.
En este caso, he medido lo ancho y largo, 50 cm x 15 cm. Dividido la cantidad entre 28 letras, para así darle a cada letra un espacio equitativo y que se vea proporcionado. Entonces lo más ideal para mí era crear cuadrados en página blanca de 3 cm x 4 cm. En cada cuadro colocar una letra, que he plasmado con marcador. Después he cortado cada cuadrado. Recuerden medir su caja o material disponible y realizar las divisiones correspondientes para así adaptarle.
Pegamos cada letra en su sitio correspondiente. Entre cada letra, he dejado un espacio de 0.50 cm.
Paso siguiente, cubrimos la superficie con cinta transparente o como le dicen aquí, celoven. Esto, para que las letras no se desgasten a través del uso que le demos.
Teniendo la base lista, nos resta ahora repetir el proceso de los cuadrados para las letras del área superior. Pero en este caso, será en una lámina de foami. Para marcar las líneas en el foami, he usado un palillo de altura para no manchar de grafito o tinta el material. Dibujamos las letras correspondientes y cortamos.
Como últimos pasos, nos resta cortar los palillos de altura. Decidí cortar 14 más altos y 14 menos altos. Esto, para cuando peguemos los cuadrados de las letras, se pueda diferenciar claramente las letras traseras de las delanteras. Pegamos con silicon cada cuadrado en los palillos. Ordenamos y realizamos las perforaciones con los mismos palillos.
¡Ahora solo nos queda practicar el abecedario!
Hay cosas que me gustan hacer, en realidad toda manualidad relacionada a aprendizaje siempre es bienvenida y más ahora que estoy en aprendiendo en conjunto con mi nieta, que es una niña azul. La manera de aprendizaje para ella es bastante diferente, por ello prefiero la inclusión de actividades estimulantes de manera intelectual, que despierten su curiosidad.

As I mentioned before, my granddaughter is 6 years old and in terms of education, she is learning the letters of the alphabet. Therefore, to help her, I have decided to put together this Didactic Alphabet that will help me practice recognizing its letters with her. I like the use of creative methods to educate her, I think there is nothing healthier than learning while she has fun playing.
The Didactic Alphabet
The learning stage often results in a quite complex step; it is a situation or perception that varies for each boy or girl. In the case of my granddaughter, we have been practicing letter sounds and knowledge through a regular elementary book called: My Garden. But, I have noticed that it is a little complicated, the way to make it a little less tedious was to make this didactic alphabet in recycling materials and foam, in order to exercise through the game the recognition of the letters and their position or order .
The dynamics or way of use:
The alphabet is printed on a cardboard base, for this I used a rectangle box from an old keyboard that I bought some time ago. I have evenly distributed the letters that make up the alphabet, leaving two lines that are divided into 14 letters each. At the same time, also with tall sticks, I have given each letter a pair. This, to be able to extract it from it and thus play memory type, where the boy or girl must locate and place the letters in pairs. To give it more shelf life, I have covered the surface with transparent tape.
Materials
- A rectangular or square box, depending on what you have
- Foamis or glossy paper to cover the surface of the box. Also a sheet to make the letters
- Silicon
- 1 white page
- Marker
- White glue
- Transparent tape
- Chopsticks height
- Scissors
- Ruler
Instructions
We are going to cut the foam and line the base as desired. I have only covered the upper part, which is what really interests me. I recommend the use of light and unicolor colors. We glue the foam with silicone.
In this case, I have measured the width and length, 50 cm x 15 cm. Divide the amount by 28 letters, in order to give each letter equal space and make it look proportionate. So the most ideal thing for me was to create 3 cm x 4 cm squares on a white page. In each box place a letter, which I have captured with a marker. Then I cut each square. Remember to measure your box or available material and make the corresponding divisions to adapt it.
We paste each letter in its corresponding place. Between each letter, I have left a space of 0.50 cm.
Next step, we cover the surface with transparent tape or as they call it here, celoven. This is so that the letters do not wear out through the use we give them.
Having the base ready, we now have to repeat the square process for the letters in the upper area. But in this case, it will be on a foam sheet. To mark the lines on the foam, I used a tall toothpick to avoid staining the material with graphite or ink. We draw the corresponding letters and cut.
As the last steps, we have to cut the height of the chopsticks. I decided to cut 14 taller and 14 shorter. This, so that when we glue the squares of the letters, we can clearly differentiate the back letters from the front ones. We glue each square on the toothpicks with silicone. We order and make the perforations with the same toothpicks.
Now we just have to practice the alphabet!
There are things that I like to do, in fact any craft related to learning is always welcome and even more so now that I am learning together with my granddaughter, who is a blue girl. Her way of learning is quite different for her, which is why I prefer the inclusion of intellectually stimulating activities that awaken her curiosity.
