Me complace grandemente compartir hoy nuevamente con ustedes, estuve estos días ausente por presentar inconvenientes de salud, ya cuando tienes 60 años las cosas debes tomarlas más suaves y a veces lo olvido. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión quisiera compartir con ustedes una manualidad muy buena para practicar las sílabas con nuestros niños. Es un tipo de juego didáctico que es especial para la etapa en que los niños estan aprendiendo a unir las vocales con las consonantes. Llamemosle como Tablero didáctico para aprender Sílabas.

I am very pleased to share with you again today, I was absent these days due to health problems, and when you are 60 years old you have to take things more gently and sometimes I forget. However, on this occasion I would like to share with you a very good craft to practice syllables with our children. It is a type of didactic game that is special for the stage in which children are learning to join vowels with consonants. Let's call it as Didactic Board to learn Syllables.
Lo mejor es que puedes hacer este tipo de juego didáctico con materiales sencillos y un poco de disposición. Después, tu niña o niño podrá tranquilamente ponerse a practicar las sílabas cuando guste y a su ritmo. Para los materiales he usado cartón, silicon, pega blanca, páginas y marcador. Usando una pintura de color, le di color a los bordes, pero no quise agregarle mucho ornamento para que no fuese motivo de distracción. Yo lo he realizado para mi nieta Lis, por ello lo hice así sin ningún tipo de ornamento que pudiera distraer la atención de ella, puesto que se distrae muy fácilmente.
The best thing is that you can make this type of educational game with simple materials and a little willingness. Afterwards, your girl or boy can calmly start practicing the syllables whenever they like and at their own pace. For the materials I have used cardboard, silicone, white glue, pages and marker. Using a colored paint, I added color to the edges, but I didn't want to add too much ornament so it wouldn't be distracting. I made it for my granddaughter Lis, so I did it this way without any type of ornament that could distract her attention, since she is very easily distracted.

¿Cómo funciona este Juego Didáctico?/ How does this Didactic Game work?
El juego consta de unas tarjetas de cartón que tienen las consonantes. La parte base del juego, es la que mantiene estáticas las vocales y al lado de las mismas es donde podremos situar las consonantes para conjugarlas con las vocales. Ejemplo:
La niña toma la tarjeta de la letra "M", repetimos y damos tiempo de reconocimiento. Ahora la posiciona en la base iniciando en la primera escala, en conjunto con la vocal "A". Aquí indicamos que es: "M + A es igual a Ma", baja la niña la tarjeta a la siguiente estación e indicamos: "M + E es igual a Me". Continuamos repitiendo el proceso con las vocales restantes y las demás letras consonantes.
The game consists of cardboard cards that have the consonants. The base part of the game is what keeps the vowels static and next to them is where we can place the consonants to conjugate them with the vowels. Example:
The girl takes the card with the letter "M", we repeat and give recognition time. She now positions it at the base starting on the first scale, in conjunction with the vowel "A". Proceso de Creación / Creation Process
Iniciamos cortando la base en cartón y también una especie de marco para darle un espacio a las letras que trabajaremos. Para unir las piezas de cartón es ideal con silicon porque asi quedan bien unidos. Pintamos el marco de color azul.
We start by cutting the base out of cardboard and also a kind of frame to give space to the letters that we will work on. To join the cardboard pieces, it is ideal with silicone because this way they stay well together. We paint the frame blue.

En las páginas blancas, cortaremos cuadrados del mismo tamaño y las pegamos sobre una cinta de cartón que posteriormente pondremos dentro del marco. Estas serán para las vocales. Escribimos las vocales con marcador.
On the white pages, we will cut squares of the same size and glue them on a cardboard tape that we will later put inside the frame. These will be for the vowels. We write the vowels with a marker.

Fijamos con silicon la pieza de las vocales, en el lado derecho.
We fix the vowel piece with silicone, on the right side.
Ahora cortaremos algunas tarjetas en cartón y cortamos unos cuadrados de página blanca, donde escribiremos las consonantes que vamos a unir posteriormente a las vocales. Para unir las cuadrados al cartón usaremos pega blanca.
Now we will cut some cards out of cardboard and cut some squares of white page, where we will write the consonants that we will later join to the vowels. To attach the squares to the cardboard we will use white glue.

Habiendo hecho las piezas, ya tenemos listo el juego para practicar las sílabas.
Having made the pieces, we now have the game ready to practice the syllables.
