Hello everyone

Happy new day to you all on this lovely day, i hope you are all doing well, its the season of celebration and i hope you are all prepared or preparing for the happy moments in this season and i wish you all the best as we celebrate the season with love.

It's a great day and i will be sharing with you the making of this beautiful and elegant white lace outfit i made for my sister for Christmas and i hope you will like tge beautiful outcome.

This season is a time of the year when we celebrate together and some people had to travel from one place to another to visit their love ones and have a lovely time together after seeing for awhile, well for my sister and her kids, tyey will be traveling to the village to visit her mother inlaw and spend the Christmas holiday with her inlaws, for that, she has to make new outfit for herself and the kids to celebrate Christmas over there and i was told to make a beautiful outfit them starting with the mother's outfit, i made this beautiful gown with stylish neckline and sleeves after which i will proceed to the making of the children's outfit with same fabric.

I started the making of this gown outfit with the cutting and sewing process successfully done but at some point, it has to be set aside as i have not decided the type of sleeves to make but luckily enough for me, i saw this sleeve design on an outfit when i was at a program and i fell in love with it and decided to make it for my sister as well. Its a three steps flare sewn to the hem of a basic sleeve and the hem of the flare was pipe with a bias tape

Taking you through the cutting and sewing process

First was to cut out the front and back bodice with a stylish neckline in front from the folded fabric with satin to serve as lining which was used to turn it inside out

I sew a zipper at the back on the zipper allowance while the front and back were sewn together with the side seam allowance

For the sleeves, i folded the main fabric in two to cut out a basic sleeve with the sleeves measurements

Then, i proceeded to the cutting of the flares with x3 of the round sleeve measurements and i cut out 3 flares for each sleeve

The hem was pipe with a white bias tape round the hem of the flares and it was sewn to the basic sleeve with 2" interval from the hem of the sleeves

Finally, the sleeves were sewn to the armhole circumference and this is the beautiful outcome of my sister's gown outfit for Christmas.

This is the back view with zipper at the back, i hope my sister will love her beautiful and stylish outfit

After the successful completion of my sister's outfit, the remaining fabric will be used to make beautiful outfit for her children as well.

Thanks so much for your time, support, comment and encouragement. Join me in my next post for more beautiful creativity. Until my next post, do have a great day and enjoy the season.
