Hello everyone

Greetings to all creative minds and lovers of diy in this great community and hive at large, I hope you all doing great just as I am here, it's nice to be here today to share in this great community with great pleasure the making of this simple small pouch made with two colors of fabrics, I made this with the combination of a small piece of fabric and a big one to make a simple pouch for keeping little items.

I love you make practical things with my left over pieces which most times I gift out as to people around me while sometimes people actually come to me to tell me what they want me to make for them and since I'm using pieces of left over fabrics, it's not difficult for me to make, at the end, I learn new things to improve in my sewing and make the people around me happy with what I make for them, this is one of the pouch I made for a girl in my neighborhood with zipper to secure the items in it and a handle to hold

Let me show you how to make this pouch with the combination of two different fabrics.
I measured and cut out 6 x 5" of fabric from the main fabric

I cut out the second piece from another fabric measuring 6 x 1.5"

The small piece was sewn to the big piece and was top stitched on as well and it was used to cut out lining and interfacing which was ironed on the main fabric

It was taken to the sewing machine and I placed a zipper on it to be sewn together on both sides

For the handle, I cut out a small piece, folded it together and sew it on both sides

I placed the main fabric to main fabric and lining to lining, then I placed the handle on the main fabric and it was sewn together leaving an opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out

It was turned inside out through the zipper opening and the opening on the lining

The opening was top stitched on and this is the final outcome.

I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome.
It looks pretty good. This pouch is good to keep little stuff. The girl will be so happy to see this gift. Well done!
