Diy on how to make a double color pouch for simple makeup items for a friend

Hello everyone

It's another beautiful day here and I hope you are all doing great and having a nice time out there, it's a pleasure for me to share with you simple step by step process on how I made this double color pouch for simple makeup items

My specialty is to make little beautiful creative items like this from pieces of fabric which were supposed to be trashed away or disposed but I have decided to use them to make useful projects as this, when you go through my blog, you will find beautiful projects and lots more, I will be sharing the step by step process below

I measured and cut out 2 pieces of fabric of same color measuring 4 x 12" with interfacing iron on it

I cut out another piece from another color of fabric measuring 4 x 12" with interfacing iron on it as well

The two colors were sewn to the two sides of the other fabrics and was top stitch on the right side

This shape was used to cut out lining, then I placed a zipper on it with the lining and it was sewn together on both sides

After sewing, it was top stitched on the right side and it was zip to the middle

For the zipper stopper on both sides, I cut out a small piece, it was folded and sewn together

The main fabric was folded in two with the zipper at the middle and I measured 1.5 x 1.5 on all sides

I cut out the corners I marked and I placed the zipper stopper on both sides on the right side and it was sewn together

The sides that was cut out was sewn together on all sides

The excess zipper was trimmed off and it was turned inside out to the right side through the zipper opening

You can see how beautiful this turned out, now you can have your little makeup items in it.

This will be given out to a friend as a gift, you can also make this and give it out as a gift or for your personal use.
