Greetings to you all beautiful people on this platform, I hope you had a great and lovely day, today service was awesome and I enjoyed being in the presence of God. Yesterday was so hectic for me as I had to work on different projects I was requested to do, I had to do the ones I was able to do and postpone others to today and thank God I was able to finish the urgent ones. I will be sharing this stylish pouch with you which I recently made for simple makeup items as requested by a friend. This is not the first time I'm making a makeup pouch but this time I wanted to be creative and make it look different from the ones I have made before and I was really happy with the beautiful outcome.
Not long ago, I made a makeup pouch for a friend with fabric as usual and luckily enough, someone saw it and was surprised at what I was able to make with fabric, she then asked my friend to tell me to make one for her as well, something simple she can easily put in her hand bag and I came up with this bar shape pouch with zipper to secure the items in it and a small handle to hold it.
With this simple step by step process, you can easily get it done, join me as I show you the cutting and sewing process.
I measured and cut out 9 x 9" of fabric with interfacing iron on it and I cut out same measurement of lining as well
I placed a zipper on the main fabric with lining and it was sewn together on both sides after which it was top stitched on the right side
I turned it to the wrong side and open the zipper to the middle
For the handle, I measured and cut out 2 x 6" from same fabric, it was folded and sewn together on both sides
On the main fabric, I folded both sides to the zipper and it was held together just as seen below
I placed the handle I made where the zipper head will stop and both sides were sewn together
The excess zipper were trimmed off on both sides and it was turned to the right side
I pulled all the edges out and it became spacious, it gave me this beautiful shape and outcome which I love so much
I had some of my little items to be properly kept in it to see how nice it will look
This is the final and beautiful outcome, I hope that it will be appreciated and gladly accepted by our friend as well

You can as well try this out with the above simple process if you like how nice it looks, this can be done with that piece of fabric you usually trash out.
