Greetings to you all on this beautiful day in this lovely community @hivediy I hope you all are doing great and having a lovely time out there. It is another beautiful day for me to share with you all the cutting and sewing process of how I made this small boxy shape pouch for safe keeping of some little earrings for my little niece with the use of a piece of left over fabrics.

As I usually share in my blog on the use of left over fabrics, there are lots of useful things you can make from fabric scraps, I have decided to make people happy with what I do and this has help me to improve in my sewing skills, now I can make a lot of things from pieces of fabric, you can follow or check some of my post to see some of the lovely and beautiful items I have made. This particular boxy shape pouch is purposely made for my little niece for the keeping of her earrings.

Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process.

From my pieces of fabric, I measured and cut out 12 x 7" with interfacing iron on it and it was placed on a lining to cut out same shape

I placed a zipper on the main fabric and the lining was placed on the zipper after which it was sewn together on both sides

It was then top stitched on the right side and it was turned to the wrong side with the zipper opened to the middle.

It was folded in two to where the zipper is to locate the middle of the fabric and I sew on both sides of the middle at the tip

The bottom was folded in two to the middle and pin together
