Hola apreciados amigos. Deseo y espero que todos estén muy bien. En mi publicación anterior les comenté que estoy elaborando proyectos de bajo costo, bonitos y funcionales, con la intención de salir a vender y generar un ingreso extra seguro ya que la situación económica en el país se ha vuelto color de hormiga de nuevo (no es que se haya arreglado nunca) pero al menos estábamos como más relajados trabajando al ritmo de cada quien. Ahora lo que llega a casa no alcanza y hay que buscar dinerito diariamente.

Entonces decidí hacer un estuche unisex, que puedan usar los hombres y las mujeres de cualquier edad. Estos estuches son para guardar los lentes. Me encantó hacerlo porque se usa poco material y se tejen rápido. Exactamente el tipo de creaciones que se debe tejer en estas ocasiones. Quise empezar con un poco de hilos pabilos que tenía disponible y combiné los colores marrón y beige. ¡Me encantó el resultado! Ahora les voy a describir parte del proceso para su elaboración.

Hello dear friends. I wish and hope you are all very well. In my previous post I told you that I am working on low cost, beautiful and functional projects, with the intention of going out to sell and generate an extra safe income since the economic situation in the country has become a mess again (not that it has never been fixed) but at least we were more relaxed working at the pace of each one. Now what comes home is not enough and we have to look for money on a daily basis.

So I decided to make a unisex case that can be used by men and women of any age. These cases are for storing glasses. I loved making them because they use very little material and they can be knitted quickly. Exactly the kind of creations to knit on these occasions. I wanted to start with some wick yarn that I had available and I combined the colors brown and beige, I loved the result! Now I am going to describe part of the process of making it.

Materiales/Materials.

✔️ Hilos pabilos color marrón y beige.
✔️ Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
✔️ Tijeras.
✔️ Botón.

✔️ Brown and beige wick yarns.
✔️ Crochet needle 2,25mm.
✔️ Scissors.
✔️ Button.

Procedimiento/Procedure.

✔️ Empecé tejiendo en un anillo mágico cuatro abanicos de tres puntos altos separados por una cadena.
✔️ En la siguiente vuelta tejí dos abanicos separados por una cadena dentro del espacio de cada cadena que tejí en la vuelta anterior. De esta manera se va haciendo la forma de cuadro en cada una de las esquinas.

✔️ I started by knitting in a magic ring four fans of three high stitches separated by a chain.
✔️ In the next round I knit two fans separated by a chain within the space of each chain that I knitted in the previous round. In this way the square shape is being made in each of the corners.

✔️ En las siguientes vueltas corresponde tejer dos abanicos separados por una cadena en cada esquina (son cuatro esquinas) y en el recorrido de esquina a esquina se teje un abanico de tres puntos altos seguido de una cadena. Esto se va a repetir en las siguientes vueltas hasta completar o llegar a la vuelta cinco.

✔️ In the following rows it is necessary to knit two fans separated by a chain in each corner (there are four corners) and in the route from corner to corner a fan of three high stitches is knitted followed by a chain. This will be repeated in the following rows until completing or reaching row five.

✔️ Para este estuche yo elegí tejer cuatro cuadros o granny. Combiné los colores en dos cuadros y los otros dos los tejí unicolor; uno color marrón y el otro de color beige.
✔️ En total el estuche será de cuatro granny. Se pueden tejer combinados o unicolor, depende del estilo o diseño que quieras hacer. A mi me gusto así porque puedo usar los restos de hilos que me van quedando.

✔️ For this case I chose to knit four squares or granny squares. I combined the colors in two squares and the other two I knitted in one color; one in brown and the other in beige.
✔️ In total the case will be four granny. You can knit them combined or unicolor, it depends on the style or design you want to make. I like it this way because I can use the leftover yarn I have left over.

✔️ Tejidos los cuatro cuadros empecé a unir de dos en dos. Combinando uno estampado con el otro unicolor.
✔️ Después coloqué las dos piezas ya unidas y las uní también con puntos bajos iniciando desde una esquina para dejarle la abertura por donde van a entrar los lentes.

✔️ Knitted the four squares I started to join them two by two. Combining one printed with the other unicolor.
✔️ Then I placed the two pieces already joined and joined them also with low stitches starting from one corner to leave the opening where the glasses will enter.

✔️ En el borde superior tejí los puntos bajos y a la vez tejí 15 cadenas para usar como ojal para el botón. Sobre esa vuelta de puntos bajos tejí otra vuelta de pb-1c para hacerle un diseño bonito al acabado final. Como pueden ver el estuche quedó perfecto para mis lentes. La idea es que quede grandecito para que proteja los lentes y no queden apretados. ¡Me gusta mucho cómo se ve!

✔️ On the upper edge I knitted the single crochet and at the same time I knitted 15 chains to use as buttonhole for the button. On that row of single crochet I knitted another row of bb-1c to make a nice design for the final finish. As you can see the case was perfect for my glasses. The idea is that it should be big enough to protect the glasses and not be too tight. I really like the way it looks!
