Everyone has in the home something to restore or that has been damaged by not using it, in this post I will show you how to restore my old washing machine. Maybe for some people these things are not of great interest because if they see it damaged somewhere they throw it away but for people who value this equipment when they see it still has a useful life they take advantage of it.
Otros dirán solo los pobres hacen eso de restaurar las cosas, saben algo estas clases de persona son las que valoran las cosas por mas insignificante que sean. Si tienen un estatus de vida diferente pero las personas que si valoran las cosas de verdad pueden ser tantos ricos y pobres. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer una familia de buena posición osea ricos y ellos si mandaban a reparar algo que se les dañaran.
La valores y el respeto van en la persona no en una cartera.
Me alegra haber compartido una breve lección de vida.
Others will say that only poor people do that to restore things, you know something these kinds of people are the ones who value things no matter how insignificant they are. Yes they have a different status in life but the people who really value things can be both rich and poor. I had the opportunity to meet a well-to-do family and they would repair anything that was damaged.
Values and respect go in the person not in a wallet.

Les confieso que muchas amistades en varias ocasiones me dijeron que nunca iba a restaurar. Pero aunque paso un tiempo para conseguir los materiales estoy feliz de tenerlos y no darme por vencido.
I confess that many friends on several occasions told me that I was never going to restore. But even though it took me a while to get the materials I am happy to have them and not give up.
Aquí en nuestro país esta lavadora la conocen como "la chaca- chaca", en mi experiencia personal es una excelente ayuda en el hogar y fácil de usar.

Debido al tiempo esta lavadora estuvo guardada por su antiguo dueño. No la usaba y la tuvo en un deposito hasta que me la obsequio y en esta oportunidad puede restaurarla.

Proceso del cambio/ Replacement process:
Tuve que utilizar esmeril para pulir o esmerilar la parte de abajo donde existía daño en la pintura y se desprendía. Entonces, el esmeril fue de gran ayuda donde tuve que pasarlo por toda el área de abajo. Así, como muestro en la imagen, pero antes de comenzar tuve que utilizar un tapaboca y careta por el residuo de este material.
I had to use emery to polish or grind the bottom where there was damage to the paint and it was coming off. So, the emery was a great help where I had
pass it all over the bottom area. So, as I show in the picture, but before starting I had to use a mask and a mask because of the residue of this material.
Después pasamos una lija para sellar o pulir toda las zonas oxidadas haciendo este proceso es para que la pintura nueva se adhiera más rápido.

Aquí mi pequeño están inspeccionando el trabajo y dijo: " Quedo bien papa".

Luego, con un pañito húmedo de gasolina debemos pasarlo por toda la parte de abajo de la lavadora esto es para retirar todo el residuo que quedo después de esmerilar o pulir ahora con la pintura blanca de aceite, empecé a pintar con una brocha mediana.

Ya me toca hacer el trabajo de pintura, cubriendo toda el área de abajo con 2 capas que aplique.
I was very brief in teaching my son, then from afar he told me he wanted to help, these chemicals have strong smells so I gave my son to pass the brush twice and he was thrilled to do it only the second time.
Now it's my turn to do the paint job, covering all the area below with 2 coats that I applied.
Con la ayuda de un rodillo chiquito pase la 3era capa de pintura para que se vea original el trabajo.
With the help of a small roller I applied the 3rd coat of paint to make the work look original.
Luego me tocó rematar o limpiar las orillas del medio de la lavadora y en el botón de encendido para retirar el excedente de pintura que quedo al momento de pintar.
Then I had to finish off or clean the edges of the middle of the washer and the power button to remove the excess paint that was left at the time of painting.
