A LADIES IN THE WALL - UNA DAMA EN EL MURO // CARDBOARD - CARTÓN

This is a somewhat quick presentation of my participation in the #DIY contest where only cardboard should be used as the main material, to see the rules

Esta es una presentación un tanto veloz de mi participación al concurso de #DIY donde sólo se debería usar como material principal cartón, para ver las reglas

MATERIALS: I used a box from a damaged phone, some brushes, white glue, some blades and a flower.

MATERIALES: Utilicé una caja de un teléfono que se dañó, unos pinceles, pega blanca, unas hojillas y una flor.

Drawing on a sheet, with a B2 graphite pencil, I made the sketch of what I wanted in this three-dimensional decorative painting.

Dibujando en una hoja, con un lápiz de grafito B2, hice el boceto de lo que quería en este cuadro decorativo tridimensional.

Now he cut it around the edges so that he could have a base paper to transfer to the cardboard.

Ahora lo recortó por los bordes para poder tener un papel base que transferir al cartón.

I continued cutting but now the sections that will be raised to have the sizes as I want them.

Seguí recortando pero ahora las secciones que serán al relieve para tener los tamaños tal cual los quiero.

In this case I marked with the pencil the cardboard of the base and with the exact one I cut it out.

En este caso marqué con el lápiz el cartón de la base y con el exacto lo fuí recortando.

Now I will mark and cut out the rectangle that will be the brick wall, leaving an additional border so that it could serve as a tab to easily glue the complement to the base.

Ahora marcaré y recortaré el rectángulo que será la pared de ladrillos, dejando un borde adicional para que pudiera servir de pestaña para pegar con facilidad el complemento a la base.

I outlined the body of the woman, separating the section of the arms to give more dimensionality to this decorative ornament.

Delineé el cuerpo de la mujer, separando la sección de los brazos para darle mas dimensionalidad a este adorno decorativo.

I designed a piece of cardboard so that it could be the three dimensional skirt in the future.

Diseñé un trozo de cartón para que pudiera ser la falda tridimensional en el futuro.

Now I had to remove one of the layers from that piece, inserting the blade in the central part to make this cardboard almost a paper.

Ahora tuve que quitarle a esa pieza una de las capas, introduciendo la hojilla en la parte central para poder volver casi un papel este cartón.

I glued the skirt to the base silhouette of the woman in cardboard, to shape it.

Pegué la falda a la silueta base de la mujer en cartón, para ya irle dando forma.

Now I added each arm in place, respecting how I wanted the positions to be.

Ahora añadí cada brazo en su lugar, respetando cómo quería que quedaran las posiciones.

I took what I had taken apart from the middle of the cardboard for the skirt and made a bunch of vertical cuts to prep the hair.

Tomé lo que había desarmado de la parte media del cartón para la falda y le tracé un montón de cortes verticales para preparar el cabello.

Those corrugated cardboard strips were folded to give the effect of curlers to the hair.

Esas tiras de cartón corrugado fue doblado para darle el efecto de rulos al cabello.

This is how it looked when I taped the brick wall to the bottom of the painting.

Así se veía cuando peque la pared de ladrillos al fondo del cuadro.

Now we begin to paint a night sky at the base of the painting.

Ahora comenzamos a pintar un cielo nocturno en la base del cuadro.

I painted the brick wall, even giving texture to the bricks with cuts with the blade.

Pinté la pared de ladrillos, incluso dándole textura a los ladrillos con cortes con la hojilla.

We paint the silhouette of the woman, the dress and everything else to finish.

Pintamos la silueta de mujer, el vestido y todo lo demás para ir finalizando.

Now we glue everything together, we unify the design to make this painting much more interesting to see.

Ahora lo pegamos todo, unificamos el diseño para lograr mucho más interesante ver este cuadro.

I just did a small express project to participate, then will show you some of my other skills.

Solo hice un pequeño proyecto express para participar, luego les mostraré otras de mis habilidades.
