Hello beautiful Hive community!!!

If you are plant and craft lovers you are going to love this!!!! I want to show you how to recycle a margarine container and turn it into a beautiful cart shaped pot. It is ideal for small plants that do not require much water, plus this cute pot gives us the opportunity to build a small garden in our house.

It is very simple to make, let's get started!

Materials:

  • Small margarine container

  • Scissors

  • Brush and paints

  • 4 wooden sticks

  • 1 soda bottle cap

  • Silicone

Materiales:

  • Envase pequeño de margarina

  • Tijera, pincel y pinturas

  • 4 palitos de madera

  • 1 tapa de una botella de refresco

  • Silicón

Step 1:

We cut small holes in the margarine container so that our plant can drain the water.

Paso 1:

Step 2:

We paint the container in the color of our preference. In my case, I painted it brown to give it a wooden look. To make sure it is well covered, I applied two coats of paint. To make it look as similar as possible to wood, the brush strokes were strong, so that the bristles of the brush would be marked. I also did some details with black and dark brown paint.

A little tip to make the paint look shiny is to add a little glue.

Paso 2:

Step 3:

Open the holes in the container where we are going to insert the sticks. It is important that the holes are at the same height.

Paso 3:

Step 4:

Once the holes are open, cut two sticks of 8 centimeters each, insert them and glue them with silicone.

Keep in mind that the sticks must be at the same height, because these are the base of the cart, if they are uneven it would not have stability.

Paso 4:

Step 5:

Cut two sticks of 25 centimeters each and glue them as shown in the photo. In the part where we will place the wheel we must leave 3 centimeters of separation between both sticks.

Paso 5:

Step 6:

We make a hole in the center of the bottle cap to insert a 5 centimeters stick. Once this is done, we glue as shown in the image.

Paso 6:

Quedo super tierno.
