Because this mania of mine to humanize animals, I think it doesn't end very well, like for example this drawing, man it's really weird, it looks like an alien.

My post should be titled: "things we shouldn't do" Hahahahaha! it's good to keep a good mood.

When I used to take painting classes with my sister (these memories crack me up) Ahhhhh my sister.... So cute she, super talented, she is a dressmaker and has blessed hands, I live far away from my siblings, God give them a lot of health, I love them very much, despite all circumstances, I miss them a lot too (I've already dispersed). Well; my sister liked to take me with her when she did courses, I was happy for that, then one day she enrolled in acrylic painting courses, they would teach us many techniques that you will not believe but they are so useful that I even apply them in my digital designs. Then, my teacher scolded me a lot, hahaha! because I wanted to do things in my own style, the results were not very good sometimes and with this visual problem, one day I painted a little dog in green, that one was beautiful but everything was talking about the colors I used, sorry but at that time I thought I saw other colors.

Then, in the "eye technique" class we were practicing human eyes on masks, the eyes that my sister painted were beautiful, but the ones I painted, had eyelashes that looked like fish eyes. Hahahaha! The funny thing was that for human eyes she made animal eyes and for animal eyes she made them human, that made my teacher frown.

My sister used to say to me: "Isa, give her more ease with the brush, like this! She would show me how, then I would try it again, the thing is that it took me a lot but in the end I could master it, however, when it occurs to me to do "something different" Ewwww! These things happen.

I repeat and confirm what my painting teacher said: Do not humanize animals. The eyes of the animals when you paint them should be very simple (talking about today's art, so very kawaii simple).

I wanted to give a humanized look to my Ajolote today but, it looks very strange, well in my favor I tell you that I just got out of bed today, everything I do is from my laptop and I don't like to draw from it, which forced me to walk to my office and sit at my computer to draw, but I want to take a little break.

Mi profesora de pintura me decía: - No humanicen a los animales, que muchas veces no les queda bien.

¿Saben qué? Ella tiene razón.

Porque esta manía mía de humanizar los animales, creo que no termina my bien, como por ejemplo este dibujo, hombre es que me ha quedado muy raro, parece alienígena.

Mi post debería tener por título: "cosas que no debemos hacer" ¡Jajajaj! es bueno mantener el buen humor.

Cuando tomaba clases de pintura junto a mi hermana (estos recuerdos me parten de risa) Ahhhhh mi hermana... Tan linda ella, super talentosa, es modista y tiene unas manos benditas, vivo muy lejos de mis hermanos, Dios me les dé mucha salud, los amo mucho, pese a toda circunstancia, los extraño mucho también (ya me dispersé). Bien; mi hermana le gustaba llevarme con ella cuando hacía cursos, yo feliz por eso, entonces un día ella se inscribió en cursos de pintura acrílica, nos ensenarían muchas técnicas que no creerán pero son tan útiles que hasta las aplico en mis diseños en digital. Entonces, mi maestra me regañaba mucho, ¡Jajaja! porque es que yo quería hacer las cosas a mi estilo, los resultados no eran muy buenos en ocasiones y con este problema visual, un día pinté un perrito de color verde, ese si me quedó bonito pero todo hablaban de los colores que usé, lo siento pero en ese momento yo creía ver otros colores.

Entonces, en la clase de "tecnica de ojos" estabamos practicando ojos humanos sobre unas máscaras, los ojos que pintaba mi hermana eran lindos, pero los que pintaba yo, tenía las pestañas que parecían ojos de pescado. ¡Jajajaja! El caso curioso era que para ojos humanos hacía ojos de animal y para los ojos de animales los hacía humanos, eso hacía que mi profesora frunciera el ceño.

Mi hermana me decía: - ¡Isa! dale más soltura al pincel, así!. Ella me mostraba cómo, entonces lo intentaba nuevamente, la cosa es que me costó un montón pero al final pude dominarlo, sin embargo, cuando se me ocurre hacer "algo diferente" ¡Ewwww! Pasan estas cosas.

Repito y confirmo lo que decía mi profesora de pintura: No humanicen a los animales. Los ojos de los animales cuando los pintas deben ser muy sencillos (hablando del arte de hoy, pues muy kawaii sencillos)

Yo quise darle aspecto humanizado a mi Ajolote de hoy pero, se ve muy raro, bueno a mi favor les cuento que a penas hoy medio me levanto de la cama, todo lo hago es desde mi laptop y no me gusta dibujar desde ella, lo que me obligó a caminar hasta lo que era mi oficina y sentarme en mi computadora para dibujar, pero ya quiero tomarme un descansito.

I remember watching that series but honestly I liked the animals but it's almost impossible to remember the names, I only remember Pikachu, name that we also gave to our puppy because he was born with a tail deformity similar to the cartoon (his personality too, I just hope he doesn't throw a fireball one day).

I'm going to have to draw Evee in my style for my son, because all in all, I love it, it's very kawaii, of course I remember him but not by name.

My son loved my design today, I thanked him a lot, hahahaha, it's a great source of motivation my son but in all conscience: it's weird!

But well my darlings, I love my quirks, they are unique. I did it more for sharing and getting out of the tower.

Y se preguntarán ustedes: ¿Qué hace Evve aquí en mi publicación?

Resulta que desde que estoy dibujando Ajolotes o Axolotes, mi hijo pequeño se sienta a mi lado y aprecia las herramientas que voy usando en el programa y también mi diseño y no hace sino repetirme: - Mami ¡estás dibujando a Evee!. Y yo quedo colgada pues no entendía de quien me hablaba, él vuelve a repetirme que Evee es un Pokemón. Yo recuerdo ver esa serie pero honestamente me gustaban los animalitos pero grabarme los nombres es casi imposible, solo recuerdo a Pikachu, nombre que además le pusimos a nuestro perrito por haber nacido con la cola con una deformidad parecida a la caricatura (su personalidad también, solo espero no lance una bola de fuego un día).

Voy a tener que dibujarle a Evee a mi estilo para mi hijo, porque en definitiva, me encanta, es muy kawaii, claro que lo recuerdo pero no por su nombre.

A mi hijo le encantó mi diseño de hoy, le di mucho las gracias, ¡Jajajaja!, es una gran fuente de motivación hijo mío pero a conciencia: ¡Esta raro!

Pero bueno queridos míos, amo mis rarezas, son únicas. Lo hice más por compartir y salir de la torre.

I drew my design today inside a crystal ball because I have a horrendous witch, with a snub nose, with a big hump, who only says curses through that mouth and keeps giving apples to everyone to fall into her evil, she harasses me, flies and flies on her broom, I do not fall for her lies but hahaha! I draw it inside a crystal ball because I have a fixation for these objects, when I was a child I used to go to a very rich people's house and they had many of these ornaments, I really enjoyed watching them and turning them upside down to see the frost falling.

Una muy hermosa seguidora mía la cual quiero mucho, en mi diseño anterior me preguntó ¿Por qué dentro de un frasco? y Antes que me preguntes nuevamente y con lo bromista que soy te respondo:

Dibujé mi diseño de hoy dentro de una bola de cristal porque tengo una bruja horrenda, con la nariz respingada, con una gran joroba, que solo dice maldiciones por esa boca y se la pasa obsequiando manzanas a todo mundo para que caigan en su maldad, ella me acosa, vuela y vuela sobre su escoba, no caigo en sus mentiras pero ¡Jajajaja! Gracias a esa bruja que me acosa, pues ni quiero levantarme de mis aposentos.

Lo dibujo dentro de una bola de cristal porque es que tengo fijación por estos objetos, cuando era niña iba a una casa de una gente muy rica y tenía muchos adornos de estos, yo disfrutaba mucho verlos y darles vuelta para ver la escarcha caer.

Trabajas con mucha comodidad.

Si cada color lo trabajas en forma diferente, aplica para el line art y el color base, usas las carpetas y los próximos lienzos que abrirás dentro de ellas seleccionas la opción Recorte, me darás las gracias. Por que cuando quieras modificar o te equivocaste en algo, no dañas el diseño completamente y si más adelante quieres cambiar el color, pues, solo será para esa sección.

I worked first on the crystal ball because I thought the blue color was too strong, I lowered it a tone by applying airbrushing.

Separate layers or canvases, adjust opacity to create shadow and light.

Create your imaginary line where the light is located to create the shadow, in my case, the light comes from the upper left, that means, the shadow is located at the lower right.

I used the Waterdrops brush to create the droplets and my custom Star brush to create the stars, was I really simulating the frost or just to give it shine and now that I think about it I should have created that effect better with frost. I'll do that next time.

Trabajé primero en la bola de cristal porque me parecía que el color azul era muy fuerte, le bajé un tono aplicando aerografía.

Capas o lienzos separados, ajuste de opacidad para crear sombra y luz.

Crea tu línea imaginaria donde se ubica la luz para crear la sombra, en mi caso, la luz proviene de la parte superior izquierda, quiere decir, que la sombra va ubicada a la derecha inferior.

Usé el pincel Waterdrops para crear las gotitas y mi pincel personalizado Star para crear las estrellas, estaba simulando la escarcha realmente o solo para dar brillo Y ahora que lo pienso debí crear mejor ese efecto con escarcha. Será para la próxima.

In the next step I worked with the shadows and lights of the Ajolote.

Recommendations:

Don't humanize animals, many times they don't look good, if you do it make sure it is not disproportionate.
The eyes of animals cannot be drawn like those of humans in many occasions, there are certain cases where it doesn't apply, for certain arts like Furry.
If you are starting like me, you have problems to draw postures, use fonts to avoid disproportion and look alien.
If you are going to publish and you used fonts, announce them in your post correctly.

En el siguiente paso trabajé con lo que es las sombras y luces del Ajolote.

Cuando se me ocurrió humanizar sus ojos y fue aquí cuando definitivamente perdí el control.

Quería que se vieran super expresivos, adorables, tiernos, pero, no lo sé ¿Qué opinas?

Pero igual, continué hasta el final, donde doy retoques a la base de la bola de cristal y finalmente mi batalla de siempre con el fondo del diseño, Entonces solo apliqué aerografía y algo de pulverización.

Recomendaciones:

No humanices los animales, muchas veces no quedan bien, si lo haces asegúrate que no quede desproporcionado.
Los ojos de los animales no pueden dibujarse como los de los humanos en muchas ocasiones, hay ciertos casos donde no aplica, para ciertos artes como el Furry.
Si estás comenzando como yo, tienes problemas para dibujar posturas, usa fuentes para evitar desproporción y se vean alienígenas.
Si vas a publicar y usaste fuentes, anúncialas en tu post correctamente.
