I made a koala bag that we put on the waist; with waterproof fabric, since it is very practical and can be used at all times when we want to carry small things, even a water bottle fits here.
At least it is for my son who asked me to make him one, so I made it for him with scraps of this fabric and with his pocket.
This is a simple model, and I made it foldable, since it is folded; and at the time of use it stretches by its designed shape.
✂️My materials:
♦️ Waterproof fabric.
♦️ Lining fabric.
♦️ Two closures.
♦️ Leash for koala.
First I cut a square, it measures 40cm wide by 32cm, I also cut the black lining fabric.
I fix the lining fabric that goes inside, tying it where it is needed, so that it is the same as the blue fabric.
Then I cut a rectangle, which will be the pocket on the outside.
With the 20cm zipper I sew a piece of fabric on the end so that these edges can be seen better.
Then with another strip longer than the closure of 2 1/2cm wide I sew it on one side of this closure, and on the other side the rectangle that will be the pocket.
With the other larger zipper I sew it on one side first and then the other part of the edge.
Everything is like a bag in the shape of a rectangle.
Once I have this part ready, I proceed to close everything, and what I did was, fold this bag in three parts, leaving the part with the closures in front, which is what you will see.
Then I cut other strips where I am going to put the strap part, as this strip will join these parts. I adjust to the size of the ends and sew joining each side.
On the side of the bag I joined it by placing the strip inside out and turned it over, so you don't see the seam. And on the side where the elastic is, I fold the fabric inwards a little and insert the part of the strap, that is, the elastic that comes with it.
Ready here this koala or fanny pack, whatever they are called elsewhere. But the important thing is that it is easy to store or fold, it fits well, and when used it stretches or expands, since the fabric is all folded.

Hice un bolso koala de los que nos ponemos en la cintura; con tela impermeable, ya que es muy práctico y se puede usar en todo momento cuando queremos llevar cosas pequeñas, incluso aqui cabe una botella de agua.
Por lo menos es para mí hijo que me pidio que le hiciera uno, así que con retazos ésta tela se lo hice y con su bolsillo.
Este es un modelo sencillo, y le puse plegable, ya que queda doblado; y en el momento de usarlo se estira por su forma de diseño.
✂️Mis materiales:
♦️Tela impermeable.
♦️Tela de forro.
♦️Dos cierres.
♦️Correa para koala.
Primero corto un cuadro, este mide 40cm de ancho, por 32cm, igualmente corto la tela de forro de color negro.
Arreglo la tela de forrro que va por dentro empatandola donde hace falta, para que esté igual a la tela azul.
Luego corto un rectangulo, que va ser el bolsillo en la parte de afuera.
Con el cierre de 20cm le coso en la punta un retazo de tela para que se vea mejor estos bordes.
Luego con otra tira más larga que el cierre de 2 1/2cm de ancho lo coso de un lado de este cierre, y por el otro lado el rectangulo que va ser el bolsillo.
La tela grande la doblo a la mitad y hago una marca, e igual la mitad del bolsillo, la ubico o coloco bien y ajusto con los alfileres todo su alrededor para luego coser en la máquina.
Con el otro cierre más grande lo coso en un lado primero y luego la otra parte de la orilla.
Todo es como una bolsa en forma de rectangulo.
Una vez teniendo esta parte lista procedo a cerrar todo, y lo que hice fué, doblar este bolso en tres partes, dejando la parte de los cierres al frente, que es la que se va a ver.
Luego corté otras tiras donde voy a colocar la parte de la correa, ya que esta tira unirá estas partes. Ajusto a la medida de los extremos y coso uniendo cada lado.
Del lado del bolso lo uní colocando la tira del reves y volteo, así no se ve la costura. Y del lado donde está la elastica, doblo un poco la tela hacia adentro y meto la parte de la correa, es decir la elastica que trae.
Listo por aqui este koala o riñonera, como se llamen en otras partes. Pero lo importante que es fácil de guardar o doblar, queda bien, y cuando se usa se estira o se expande, ya que la tela está toda doblada.
