Hello dear friends of Hive DIY, I hope you are all doing well. Since October, I've been working on a figure, and up until then I had only made the helmet, which you can see the process of here: armor. I had to keep recycling cans, and well, it went very well. It's difficult to be brief in the explanation, so I'll just mention the most important points so you can familiarize yourselves with the process. Besides that, I also made a short video showing the materials and how I made the mechanism to assemble the figure. This was possible thanks to the YouTube channel Minimaus Crafts, who always provides me with many of their templates. I hope you enjoy my post, the first of this month. Let's begin!
Hola queridos amigos de Hive Diy, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien y de maravilla,desde el mes de octubre he estado trabajando en una figura, donde hasta ese entonces había hecho solo el casco, el cual pueden ver el proceso aquí: Link me di a la tarea de continuar poco a poco haciendo toda la armadura, ya que tenía que seguir reciclando latas y bueno, me fue muy bien. Es muy difícil ser breve con la explicación así que solo mencionaré los puntos más resaltantes para que puedan familiarizarse con el proceso, a parte de todo eso también hice un video corto, donde muestro los materiales y como hice el mecanismo para ir armando la figura. Esto fue posible gracias al canal de youtube Minimaus Crafts, quien siempre me facilita muchas de sus plantillas. Espero que disfruten mi publicación, la primera de este mes. Comencemos!

As I mentioned at the beginning, I did a bit of collecting; some cans were given to me, and well, to make the video I bought one and drank it, haha, all for the sake of art. After washing and cleaning them, I cut them all with scissors until they were thin sheets of aluminum.
Como había dicho al principio, hice un trabajo de recolección, en algunos lugares, otras latas me las regalaron, y bueno, para hacer el video me compré una y me la tomé jeje, todo sea por el arte. Luego de lavarlas y limpiarlas las corté todas con una tijera hasta convertirlas en finas láminas de aluminio.

So I started with the upper torso. What I do is cut out the templates that correspond to this part, cut them out with scissors, and then glue them onto the aluminum. Once that's done, I shape it with scissors and then join the pieces together using glue. Here I used green on the chest to differentiate the design a bit.
Así que comencé por la parte superior del torso, lo que hago es cortar las plantillas que corresponden a esta parte, cortarlas con tijeras y luego pegarlas en el aluminio. Una vez hecho esto le doy forma con la tijera y luego voy uniendo las partes utilizando el pegamento. Aquí utilicé color verde en el pecho para diferenciar un poco el diseño.

Continuing with the torso, to complete this process we also begin making the waist, which is made from an arch-shaped piece that is placed around the piece I made earlier. I also begin cutting another piece and shaping it into a circle with the pliers; this piece is the neck, and it's where the helmet will go. For it to move freely, it needs a hole at the top for the helmet to go through.
Siguiendo con el torso, para completar este proceso comenzamos a hacer también la cintura, la cual esta hecha de una pieza con forma de arco que se va poniendo alrededor la pieza que hice antes. También comienzo a cortar otra pieza y darle forma circular con la pinza, esta pieza es el cuello, y es donde irá el casco, para que este s epueda mover libremente debe tener un agujero en la parte superior por donde irá el casco.

To finish the entire torso, I begin working on the part that connects to the legs. But before that, I make a tube-shaped piece that fits inside the torso. I drill two small holes on the sides; these holes are for each arm, so this piece must be inserted inside the torso and secured with glue.
Para finalizar con todo el torso comienzo a realizar toda la parte que conecta con las piernas. Pero antes de ello, se hace una pieza con forma de tubo que puesa caber dentro del torso, se hacen dos pequeños agujeros a los lados, estos agujeros es para recibir cada brazo, por lo que esta peiza debe introducirse dentro del torso y asegurarse con pegamento.

Then I start making the arms, which consist of four parts: the shoulder, where it's attached to the torso. The cardboard piece that's placed there allows both parts to be joined and also allows the entire arm to move. Next comes the forearm, formed by a circular piece, and the upper arm where the hands will later be attached. I make these last because they're complicated.
Luego comienzo a hacer los brazos que consta de 4 partes, el hombro, y es aquí que va unido al torso, el cartón que va colocado permite unir ambas partes y también permite el movimiento de todo el brazo. Luego viene el ante brazo, formado por una pieza circular y el brazo donde luego irán las manos, estas las hago de último porque son complicadas.

After attaching the shoulder pads and making the other missing arm, I attach them to each side, both the right and the left. This is how it looks.
Luego de ponerle las hombreras y hacer el otro brazo que falta los voy poniendo a cada lado, tanto el derecho como el izquierdo. Así es como s epuede ver.

Now I'll move on to the legs, which, like the arms, are made in sections. First, the upper part. Here on the inner side are two pieces of wood with a hole; these pieces will support the axle that allows the knee to move. After that, I glue the upper part together using the tabs.
Ahora sigo con las pierna,s que al igual que los brazos viene por parte, en primer lugar la parte superior, aquí en lado interno van dos piezas de maderas con un agujero, estas piezas servirán para sostener el eje que permitira el movimiento de la rodilla. . Luego de eso, con pegamento voy uniendo la parte superior por las pestañas.

Next, we move on to the second part of the leg, from the knee to the feet. For this, we cut out the templates and, following the order of each piece, we shape and glue them together. Once each piece is ready, we begin assembling it, starting with the knee, and then continuing until we finish by attaching the shoe or boots. This completes the leg assembly.
Luego vamos con la segunda parte de la pierna que va desde la rodilla hasta los pies, para eso cortamos las plantillas y siguiendo el orden de cada pieza las vamos moleando y pegando, al tenerlas cada una listas comenzamos a unir, en primer lugar la rodilla, luego de ahi hasta finalizar colocando el zapato o las botas. Esto completa el proceso de la pierna.

Hands are always tricky, both in drawing (haha), and in other things. We artists always struggle to draw good hands, so drawing them presents another challenge. Each piece that makes up a finger is very small, so it tests your patience and concentration, but nothing that time can't fix.
Las manos siempre son complicadas, tanto en el dibujo jeje, a los dibujantes siempre nos cuentas hacer buenas manos, así que hacerla se sotro problemas. Cada pieza que conforma un dedo es muy pequeña, por lo que pone a prueba tu paciencia y concentración, pero nada que el tiempo no ayude a realizar.

Finally, there's the making of Victor Doom's cape, and although it was made from Tony Stark's armor, I made sure to stay true to his style. I added a hood to the cape, and instead of a brooch to fasten it, I used a keychain. I attached it to the figure, and that's how it was finished.
Por último queda la confección de la capa que utiliza Victor Doom, y auqnue se haya hecho con una armadura de Tony Stark se asegura de ser fiel a su estilo. A la capa le agrego una capucha y en lugar de un broche para unirla utilizo una cadena de llavero, se la pongo a la fogura y así queda finalizado.

And so the work is finished! I had a lot of fun with this piece, and I also read the comic and really enjoyed it. Así ha quedado finalizado el trabajo, me divertí mucho con esta pieza además de que leí el cómic y me gustó bastante, ahora que se acerca el año próximo el estreno de Avengers Doomsday e suna buena forma de prepararse. You promised you were going to do this fabulous job and you have done it, I was looking forward to it and it was spectacular and great. Each piece is impressive apart from the fact that the material you use to work with is not easy at all and the elaboration of each piece is incredible. I think about how long each part must have taken you and I marvel at it.

Lo recuerdas? jejej pude hacerlo ya que me di a la tarea de seguir reciclando latas para poder hacer la figura completa y lo mejor es que me quedó material para hacer una figura mas.
