¡Hola Comunidad Hive!, esperando que todos estén teniendo un excelente inicio de año. Les comenté en mis publicaciones anteriores que estuve trabajando la costura para mi familia en estas últimas semanas del año, eso incluye a mis hijas y algunas sobrinas. Hoy quiero compartir un sencillo vestido con tela de licra con diseño de puntos, que le hice a mi sobrina, que tiene la misma edad de mi hija mayor.
El diseño está en la delantera, con pocos materiales y dedicándole un poco de tiempo, se logran buenos detalles. En esta publicación te comento que necesité y los pasos para hacer esta bella pieza.
Hello Hive Community, hoping everyone is having a great start to the new year. I told you in my previous posts that I have been working on sewing for my family in these last weeks of the year, that includes my daughters and some nieces. Today I want to share a simple dress with lycra fabric with a dotted design that I made for my niece, who is the same age as my oldest daughter.
The design is on the front, with few materials and dedicating a little time, good details are achieved. In this publication I tell you what I needed and the steps to make this beautiful piece.
MATERIALES:
1 metro de tela de licra estampada
Hilo, agujas, alfileres
Sesgo elástico blanco
Máquina de coser.
MATERIALS:
1 meter of printed lycra fabric.
Thread, needles, pins
White elastic bias
Sewing machine.
PROCEDIMIENTO:
Este patrón tiene tres piezas en la parte delantera, es lo primero que corté y reservé.
PROCEDURE:
This pattern has three pieces on the front, this is the first thing I cut out and set aside.
La pieza más grande se le hace dos frunces uno que llegue a 20 cm, y el de abajo dejando 4 cm al principio y al final que mida 30 cm, como se muestra en la foto
The larger piece is made with two gathers, one that reaches 20 cm, and the bottom one leaving 4 cm at the beginning and at the end that measures 30 cm, as shown in the photo.
Corté la pieza trasera y la reservé también.
I cut the back piece and reserved it as well.
Uní las piezas, luego de coser las dos piezas restantes del delantero. Muy cuidadosamente a máquina con costura recta.
I joined the pieces, then sewed the two remaining pieces of the front. Very carefully machine stitched with a straight seam.
Hice también un repisado al derecho para dar mejor acabado a la pieza delantera.
I also did a right side facing to give a better finish to the front piece.
Coloqué el sesgo elástico, no estirando mucho, inicié por el delantero donde tengo el frunce.
I placed the elastic bias, not stretching too much, I started at the front where I have the gathering.
Luego el sesgo lo coloqué por las sisas, con zic zac. Dejé 17 cm para los tirantes.
Then the bias binding was placed at the armholes, with zic zac. I left 17 cm for the shoulder straps.
Culminé la parte superior del vestido, de esta forma.
I finished the upper part of the dress in this way.
Con el resto de la tela hice la parte de la falda, una pretina como un adorno que lo uní al resto del vestido.
With the rest of the fabric I made the skirt part, a waistband as an ornament that I attached to the rest of the dress.
Luego pasé costura a las orillas para dar los detalles restantes, y mi modelo le quedó de esta manera.
Then I sewed the edges to give the remaining details, and my model looked like this.
A la dueña del vestido, le quedó también excelente, un modelo fresco y sencillo que se puede usar en muchas ocasiones.
The owner of the dress also looked excellent, a fresh and simple model that can be worn on many occasions.
