A happy day 😘😃😃 to all the creatives that make life in this community @hivediy, classes are starting and as teachers we have to carry our office in our wallet, in the last school period I made a pencil case which was too small for me as time went by, because as time went by there were also more items that I had to carry daily to the classroom.
Un feliz día 😘😀😀 tengan todos los creativos que hacen vida en esta comunidad @hivediy , ya comienzan las clases y como maestras nos toca llevar nuestra oficina en la cartera, en el periodo escolar pasado realicé una cartuchera la cual me quedó pequeña a medida que iba transcurriendo el tiempo, ya que tal como pasaba el tiempo también se iban sumando artículos que debía llevar a diario al salón de clases.

Es por ello que este nuevo periodo necesitaba de algo más organizado y lo mejor de todo que puedo llevar hasta la engrapadora que luego de buscar y ver cómo me las ingeniaba para llevar todos mis implementos de oficina de manera organizada, fue como di con un video en Youtube si quieres ver el video, sigue este enlace en el cual mostraban justo el modelo de lo que yo necesita, así que luego de ver el video y calcular medidas solo debía realizar algunos pequeños aumentos para que la cartuchera fuera tal como la que yo necesitaba.
I just had to look for my fabric scraps to give life to my future pencil case and I got just what I needed some scraps of pink and orange fabric and another one of red and white vichi to combine them, then I looked for the zipper and I had everything ready to start cutting the scraps to the size I needed and get to work.
Solo me quedaba buscar mis retazos de telas guardadas para darle vida a mi futura cartuchera y conseguí justo lo que necesitaba unos retazos de tela rosada y anaranjada y otro de vichi rojo y blanco para combinarlos, luego busque el cierre y ya tenía todo listo para comenzar a cortar los retazos a la medida que los necesitaba y poner manos en la obra.
For this I used:
- 4 fabric scraps of 24 cm x 25 cm (pink and orange)
- 1 piece of vichi of 46 cm x 25 cm.
- 2 pieces of pink fabric 7 cm x 4 cm (pink).
- 1 piece of vichi of 6 cm x 6 cm.
- 1 zipper of 30 cm
- 1 piece of fur with glue of 45 cm x 24 cm.
- 2 patches of fur with glue of 24 cm x 15 cm.
Para ello utilicé:
- 4 retazos de tela de 24 cm x 25 cm (rosada y anaranjada)
- 1 retazos de vichi de 46 cm x 25 cm.
- 2 retazos en tela rosado de 7 cm x 4 cm (rosado)
- 1 retazo de vichi de 6cm x 6 cm.
- 1 cierre de 30 cm
- 1 retazo de pelón con pega de 45 cm x 24 cm.
- 2 retazos de pelón con pega de 24 cm x 15 cm.
Procedure:
- Before starting to sew, I glued the fur to the pink pieces with the help of the iron; in the width of the iron (24 cm).
Procedimiento:
- Antes de comenzar a coser, pegué el pelón a los retazos rosados con la ayuda de la plancha; en el ancho de la misma (24 cm).
- Then to give shape to the lower gusset of the pencil case we mark the center, from there we mark 6 cm on each side, then we go up 3.5 cm, then at the ends we put 1 cm, from that 1 cm we go down 0.3 cm and mark a semi-inclined line up to 3.5 cm, and from those 0.3 cm we mark a straight line up to the selvage of the fabric at the top.
- Seguido para darle forma al fuelle inferior de la cartuchera marcamos el centro, de allí marcamos 6 cm a cada lado, luego subimos 3,5 cm, posteriormente a los extremos metemos 1 cm, de ese 1 cm bajamos 0,3 cm y marcamos una línea semiinclinada hasta los 3,5 cm, y desde esos 0,3 cm marcamos una línea recta hasta el orillo de la tela en la parte superior.

- Antes de proseguir a coser la cartuchera quise asegurar el pelón a la tela por lo que lo cosí con costura recta, seguido ajuste el cierre con alfileres, enfrentando el derecho de la tela rosado con el derecho del cierre y este a su vez con el derecho de la tela anaranjado; o forro de la cartuchera; marqué 2,5 cm al extremo de la tela donde culminaría el cierre y cosí hasta ese punto, luego sujetando hacía adentro de la costura el extremo del cierre, culminé de cerrar la base superior de la cartuchera a una de las partes del cierre.

- Seguido cosí solo las partes punteadas en la imagen, para luego ajustar las puntas inferiores y darle así la base rectangular a la cartuchera, posteriormente volteé ambas partes de la cartuchera por la abertura que había dejado, y ajuste la costura para cerrarla por completo.

- Proseguí a darle un pespunte a la orilla del cierre, ajustando así tanto la parte interior y exterior de la cartuchera, seguido cosí la tela a cuadros uniendo los extremos, quedando un circulo, doblamos a la mitad y con la ayuda de la plancha doble las orillas para luego unir lo que sería la parte superpuesta de la cartuchera, a la vez doblé las piezas de 7 x 4 cm, que irían de soporte a los extremos de esta pieza, las ajuste con alfileres a cada lado de la misma.
