Today I'm going to teach you how to make the adorable mascot of the @aliento project, "Ajolote", using moldable foam (foam clay). I hope you like the creation, the entire community in general, and I am super happy to present my experience with this flexible material. Join me! 🤗

Hola!! Buenas Noches 🌙 familia @hivediy, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a la tierna mascota del proyecto @aliento, "Ajolote". Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame! 🤗

The reference image was taken from the last post on the profile of @ajolote, representing the well-known mascot of the Aliento project, which is dedicated to commenting and guiding new users, welcoming them, and advancing on Hive as a content creator.

The ajolote is a fascinating creature with unique characteristics and lives only in a few lakes in Mexico.

I was inspired to design it in foam clay because in its latest content, the animated version was perfect to develop. I know it may not be much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

La imagen de referencia fue tomada del último post del perfil de @ajolote, en representación de la conocida mascota del proyecto Aliento, que va dedicada a comentar y guiar a usuarios nuevos, darles la bienvenida y avanzar en hive como creador de contenido.

El ajolote es una criatura fascinante con características únicas y solo vive en algunos lagos de México.

Me inspire a diseñarlo en foami, pues en su último contenido el animado era Perfecto a desarrollar. Sé que no es suficiente, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

Materiales / Materials

Foami moldeable Violeta / Violet foam clay

Foami moldeable Rosado / Pink foam clay

Foami moldeable Blanco / White foam clay

Foami moldeable Negro / Black foam clay

Herramientas para pasta foami / Kit of foami

STEP/PASO 1

In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of violet-colored clay to create the animated character's body. Then, with my hands, I shape it into a ball, giving it a curious finish.

En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color violeta para realizar el cuerpo del animado. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

STEP/PASO 2

Next, I develop the body parts of the axolotl: its head, torso, gills, legs, and fins, using the violet hue, always giving my best.

Seguidamente, desarrollo las partes del cuerpo en el ajolote, su cabeza, tronco, branquias, patas y aletas, con la tonalidad de violeta, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

STEP/PASO 3

Finally, we create the eyes and add the final touches to the face, using black, pink, and white for the mascot's shine. This part of the design is a bit more complex, as the parts to be molded are much smaller.

Ya por último, realizamos los ojos y retoques finales en la cara, utilizando los colores negro, rosado y blanco para el brillo de la mascota. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

It's important to note that this design was found on @ajolote; but the creation of the character is done by me, with dedication, to make them look beautiful in your home or bedroom.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en @ajolote; pero la realización del animado es hecha por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.
