Custom Packaging Design [ENG/ESP]

in Hive Diy14 days ago

ENGLISH VERSION

My creative friends, have a great start to the week.

Once again, here we are, sharing, creating, and trying out new designs. This time, I’m sharing my latest design—little boxes—but this time with a packaging style tailored for female entrepreneurs and anyone who wants to sell or promote their products using these personalized boxes. In this case, I created a specific design, as I’ve been brainstorming and coming up with ideas that I hope to bring to life.

post hive (98).png

Anyway, here I’m going to show you a little bit about how I did it, starting with the template in Canva—an A4-sized page in landscape orientation. Using the program’s shape tools, we’ll build and create our template, and then give it the design we want.

image.png

Once our template is ready—with the design in place—we'll print it out; as you can see, it will be two sheets: one is the base and the other is the front cover of our box.

image.png

We cut it out; in this case, I started with the base, gluing the sides in place.

Now I'm moving on to the top part, the cover; I had to print the design twice here—I made a mistake and pasted it on upside down, hahaha. These things happen. The downside of not having my own printer is the cost, but oh well, I'm confident I'll figure that out soon.🙏

Bringing this kind of design from the digital world to the physical world is certainly no easy task; creating it is one thing, but when it comes to bringing it to life and putting it together, that’s where we have to be careful, because we end up wasting material, and that leads to more expenses—which, in the world of stationery, is a real bummer. 😫

Anyway, as I always say, the best part of all this is being able to say you did it yourself—that it’s your own creation; seeing the final result is all that matters. You have no idea how I felt when I saw my little box all put together—it was so pretty, and it was definitely a huge source of satisfaction. 😍

I'm really enjoying creating these designs; I've made a few other little things that I'll be sharing with you soon, too. I hope you like this design and let me know what you think of it.

And if you're interested in purchasing the editable template, feel free to contact me.👇 😜
