Saludos querida comunidad, siempre que quiero tejer algo pero no encuentro inspiración busco en la web de patrones o imágenes que me puedan servir, a veces uso dichos patrones, otras veces los modifico y otras simplemente me sirven de inspiración paras crear uno de cero, esto sucede porque las imágenes no siempre se ajustan a los requerimientos de la técnica o el tamaño deseado, a veces tengo suerte de encontrar que puedo ajustar fácilmente a un patrón, este fue uno de los caso cuando me encontré como una imagen que parecía un patrón de hama beads, del personaje Okarun, el protagonista de Dandadan, me pareció muy lindo y su tamaño era perfecto para un collar, así que puse manos a la obra y comparto hoy con ustedes como lo hice 😊
Greetings dear community, whenever I want to knit something but can't find inspiration I search the web for patterns or images that can help me, sometimes I use said patterns, other times I modify them and other times they simply serve as inspiration to create one from scratch, this happens because the images do not always fit the requirements of the technique or the desired size, sometimes I am lucky to find that I can easily adjust to a pattern, this was one of the cases when I found an image that looked like a hama beads pattern, of the character Okarun, the protagonist of Dandadan, I found it very cute and its size was perfect for a necklace, so I got to work and today I share with you how I did it 😊
Materiales / Materials
- Hilo para crochet: aguamarina, negro, gris oscuro, gris claro blanco, beige, marrón y amarillo.
- Cordón de yute o hilo chino
- Tabla

- 2 pinzas para ropa

- Crochet thread: aquamarine, black, dark gray, light gray, white, beige, brown, and yellow.

En la aplicación pixel Station redibujé la imagen, pero en cuadros sobre un lienzo de 22 de ancho por 29 de alto, es decir que para hacer este trabajo se usarán 22 hilos guía y harán 29 hileras de nudos. En la aplicación Inshot agregué los números.
In the Pixel Station app, I redrew the image, but in squares on a 22-by-29-inch canvas. This means that for this project, I'll use 22 guide threads and make 29 rows of knots. In the Inshot app, I added the numbers.
Proceso / Process
Corté 70 cm de cordón, tomé el extremo e hice un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto, hice los mismo con el otro extremo, obteniendo un collar ajustable.
I cut 70 cm of cord, took the end and made a slip knot wrapping the opposite end, I did the same with the other end, obtaining an adjustable necklace.
Coloqué el collar rodeando la tabla. Como el fondo del patrón es de color aguamarina usé ese hilo para hacer los hilos guía, cortando 11 hebras de 30 cm, luego anudé las hebras por la mitad en el centro del collar para obtener 22 hilos guía, luego sujeté el collar con las pinzas para ropa y agregué el primer hilo anudador del color de fondo.
I placed the necklace around the board. Since the pattern background is aquamarine, I used that yarn to make the guide threads, cutting 11 strands of 30 cm each. I then knotted the strands in half in the center of the necklace to make 22 guide threads. I then secured the necklace with clothespins and added the first knotting thread in the background color.
La imagen original del personaje presenta el cabello y el uniforme en negro, pero un negro un poco menos oscuro que el usado para el delineado, por lo tanto para poder hacer los nudos y que se notara usé gris oscuro para que se viera la diferencia con el delineado. La forma de hacer los nudos es simple, el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en la hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, siempre digo que aunque que sea simple el procedimiento no significa que sea sencillo, hay que tener paciencia, y prestar muchísima atención al patrón, porque lo único fácil es equivocarse si no se cuentan los nudos 😊, cada cuadro representa un nudo y los cambios de color se hacen cruzando los hilos anudadores por detrás.
The original image of the character presents the hair and uniform in black, but a slightly less dark black than the one used for the outline, therefore, in order to make the knots and make them noticeable, I used dark gray to show the difference with the outline. The way to make the knots is simple, the knotting thread wraps twice each of the guide threads, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows, I always say that although the procedure is simple, it does not mean that it is easy, you have to be patient, and pay a lot of attention to the pattern, because the only easy thing is to make a mistake if you do not count the knots 😊, each square represents a knot and the color changes are made by crossing the knotting threads behind.
Al finalizar las hileras de nudo, separé los hilos guía en cuatro partes e hice 4 nudos, corté para emparejar los hilos, corté y escondí los hilos anudadores por detrás.
When I finished the knot rows, I separated the guide threads into four parts and made 4 knots, cut to match the threads, cut and hid the knotting threads behind.

Si como los nudos son chiquitos es duro, pero aun así con practica se puede, solo hay que contar bien. Un abrazo!

Switching the hair and uniform to dark gray instead of pure black was such a smrat call, its making the outline pop without losing the vibe. The 22 guide threads with 29 rows setup is super clear, but counting every knot feel like doing taxes :) Hiding the knotting threads behind to keep the front clean is a really neat touch.
