Today I want to share with you once again a beautiful and spectacular topper that I made with much love and appreciation for the 15th birthday cake of my other beautiful niece MARIANGEL that we will celebrate on Wednesday, as you can notice each person has their own style because this niece is totally different from my other niece SARA, you will say and if she has nieces, well I tell you that we are 4 sisters and three of us gave birth the same year, I was the first to give birth to a beautiful boy Joseph and then Sara was born the following month and then the next month my niece Mariangel, that was a year of great joy in our family and grandmother happy. ..
This beautiful topper for 15 years, is inspired by a beautiful moon accompanied by several stars and a silhouette of a quinceañera wearing a replica of the dress of the quinceañera. Friends as I have always told you the topper is the ideal crowning to highlight the birthday cakes, I think you just have to have a little creativity to make a spectacular birthday topper original and to the taste of the birthday girl. Saludos para todos mis creativas amigas que hacen vida en esta gran comunidad de #HiveDiy , espero que estén pasando chevere esta noche y que estén llenos de mucha salud. Esta noche tengo el placer de estar con ustedes nuevamente presentando mi proyecto de hoy y espero que les sea de su agrado. Mis amigos no he podido publicar mis proyectos como lo hacia antes porque he esta full en la universidad... pero bueno mis creativas amigas aquí estoy poco a poco hasta que tome vacaciones en el trabajo. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una vez mas un hermoso y espectacular topper que hice con mucho cariño y aprecio para la torta de los 15 años de mi otra hermosa sobrina MARIANGEL que celebraremos el miércoles, como pueden notar cada persona tiene su estilo porque esta sobrina es totalmente distinta a mi otra sobrina SARA, ustedes dirán y si tiene sobrinas, pues les cuento que somos 4 hermanas y tres de nosotras dimos a luz el mismo año, yo fui la primera en dar a luz un hermoso varón José y luego nació Sara el mes siguiente y luego el siguiente mes mi Sobrina Mariangel, ese fue un año de mucha alegria en nuestra familia y la abuela contenta...
Este hermoso topper para 15 años, esta inspirado en una hermosas luna acompañada de varias estrellas y una silueta de una quinceañera luciendo una replica del vestido de la quinceañera. Amigas como siempre les he dicho los topper es la coronación ideal para hacer resaltar las tortas de cumpleaños, creo que solo tienes que tener un poco de creatividad para hacer un espectacular topper de cumpleaños original y al gusto de la cumpleañera. Bueno mis amigas creativas, no se pierdan el paso a paso para hacer este espectacular y hermoso topper de cumpleaños. ¡¡Entonces empecemos pues!!
- EVA glue (silver frosted, black, turquoise, silver)
- Black and white cardboard
- Green fabric (remnant of the quinceañera's dress)
- Silver ribbon
- Silhouette of a woman
- Scissors
- Silicone
- Plastic stick
- Chopsticks
- Goma eva (plateado escarchado, negro, turquesa, plateado)
- Cartulina blanca y negra
- Tela verde (retaso del vestido de la quinceañera)
- Cinta plateada
- Silueta de mujer
- Tijera
- Silicon
- Palito plástico
- Palillos
1:We start by making a circle of 17.5 centimeters in diameter, inside this circle we make another circle of 15 centimeters in diameter and then we draw a half moon.
1: Iniciamos realizando un circulo de 17,5 centímetro de diámetro, dentro de ese circulo realizamos otro circulo de 15 centímetro de diámetro y seguidamente dibujamos una media luna.
2: We take the silver eva rubber and mark our mold of half moon, then in the black eva rubber we mark again our mold of the moon leaving 3 centimeters around the edges and cut, then in the white cardboard we mark the mold of the black moon and leave 3 centimeters more around the edge and cut, as you can see in the images.
2: Tomamos la goma eva plateada y marcamos nuestro molde de media luna, luego en la goma eva negra marcamos nuevamente nuestro molde de la luna dejando 3 centímetros por los bordes y recortamos, seguidamente en la cartulina blanca marcamos el molde de la luna negra y le dejamos 3 centímetros mas por todo el borde y recortamos, como pueden observar en las imágenes.
3: To assemble our crescent base, we cut out several small pieces of eva rubber and then proceed to glue them between each layer of moons, which will allow us to give a little 3D effect to our crescent.
3: Para armar nuestra base de la media luna, recortamos varios taquitos de goma eva y luego procedemos a pegarlos entre cada capa de lunas, los cuales nos permitirá darle un poco de efecto 3D a nuestra media luna.
4: To make our silhouette we take the black eva rubber, we mark and cut it out, then we proceed to make a small replica of the quinceañera's dress on the small piece of fabric, then we glue it to the silhouette, then we make another silhouette on the black cardboard and glue it to the silhouette of the dress.
4: Para realizar nuestra silueta tomamos la goma eva negro, marcamos y recortamos, seguidamente procedemos a realizar una pequeña replica del vestido de la quinceañera en el retacito de tela, luego lo pegamos a la silueta, después realizamos otra silueta en la cartulina negra y la pegamos a la silueta la vestida.
5: Now we make a series of small stars, then we proceed to join each of the pieces, we make a small crown in silver frosted eva rubber which we glue to our quinceañera. Then we made other larger stars in turquoise and silver frosted eva rubber, then we lined the sticks with silver ribbon and glued each star on them, as you can see in the pictures and finally we glued the plastic stick on the back to hold our topper.
5: Ahora realizamos una serie de estrellas pequeñitas, seguidamente procedemos a unir cada una de las piezas, realizamos una pequeña corona en goma eva plateado escarchado la cual la pegamos a nuestra quinceañera. Después realizamos otras estrellas mas grandes en goma eva turquesa y plateado escarchado, luego forramos los palillos con la cinta plateada y pegamos cada estrella en ellos, como pueden observar en las imágenes y para finalizar pegamos por la parte de atrás el palito plástico para sostener nuestro topper.
