Hello, good evening to all my friends. I hope you are all well. I would like to share with you a base or stand for a silicone gun. I made it from recycled materials such as cardboard. It is very useful; we can place our gun there while we work, and if a little silicone falls, it will fall onto the lid that we place in the center of the base.
Materials I used
for my creation:
-Cardboard
-Foam
-Cardstock
-Scissors
-Silicone
Here are the steps to follow:
First, take the cardboard. The first thing you need to do is measure it to know what size it will be. I used 30 centimeters long and 13 centimeters wide for the base, and 30 centimeters long and 10 centimeters wide for the piece that will hold the gun, as this needs to be a little narrower than the base.
Next, we will cover the cardboard pieces. Start by covering the base. I glued foam on both sides and used silver glitter.
Then, to decorate the piece that will hold the gun, I used blue cardstock. I decorated both sides and, almost in the center, I made a rectangular cut where we will attach or rest our gun.
Next, we will proceed by folding the blue-decorated cardboard piece. We will glue a triangular shape at the top and bottom of a part that will remain on the base, which is where a plastic piece will be placed so that the silicone can fall.
Next, we will continue by making a base or space where we will place our silicone, pencils, scissors, or any other work items. We will cut out four pieces measuring 10 cm long x 4 cm wide and glue them side by side to form a square-like shape. We will cover this with foam so that the cardboard is not noticeable.
Next, we will glue it to our silicone base so that we can store our objects and it will be very useful.
Next, I cut out several white flowers and glued them to the blue part of our silicone base so that they match and look prettier and more eye-catching, thus finishing my creation.
This is the final result of my cute silicone gun base or holder made from recycled materials. It is a way to hold our work tool and keep things tidy.
