It's about the design and making of two beautiful jumpsuits with a little party included, for two very peculiar characters that my beloved partner @ibarra95 loves, her adorable Labubus. El dia de hoy me encantaría compartir un nuevo proyecto de costura, trata nada mas y nada menos del diseño y la confección de dos hermoso overoles con pachanguita incluida para dos personajes muy peculiares que mi queridísima pareja @ibarra95 ama, sus tiernos Labubus.

That's why I decided to create a beautiful casual style in a denim fabric, creating a denim look that's nothing more than combining different denim garments in the same look to achieve a fresh, versatile, and attitude-filled style. Total denim is nothing new. Its popularity began in the 1980s and 1990s, with fashion and music icons sporting head-to-toe denim outfits.

Estos adorables peluchitos coleccionables en forma de elfos monstruosos creados por el diseñador hongkonés Kasing Lung, comercializados exclusivamente por la empresa minorista china Pop Mart han robado los corazones de miles de fanáticos alrededor del mundo, y en mi pais, a pesar de entrar un poco atrasados, ya estan en tendencia.
Resultan muy diamativos por su gran diversidad y variedad, pero con ropita lucen aun mas hermosos. Es por ello que decidi crearles un hermoso estilo casual en un tejido de jeans, creando entonces un estilo de look denim que no es mas que combinar diferentes prendas de jean en un mismo look para lograr un estilo fresco, versátil y lleno de actitud. El total denim no es una novedad. Su popularidad comenzó en los años 80 y 90, con íconos de la moda y la música luciendo conjuntos de jean de pies a cabeza.

I started by cutting out each piece I needed for my overalls using samples. I obtained the front and back pieces for the shorts and skirt, as well as a fabric cover to hold the straps and make them look more aesthetic.
Then, using the sample, I cut out the pieces to make the little hats, or pachanguita (known by that name in my country).

Comence recortando con muestras cada pieza que necesitaba para mi overol. Obteniendo delantero y trasero del short y la falda, al igual que un cubretela para colocar los tirantes y hacer que se viera mas estético.
Luego con ayuda de la muestra saque para hacer los sombreritos, o pachanguita( conocido con ese nombre en mi país).

Once each piece is cut, I proceed to make the hats. I start at the sides, joining a total of four pieces. Then, I place two pairs of pieces inside out and sew around the entire circumference of the top. I turn it right side out and sew again in the same area, giving it more strength and a nice finish.

Una vez cortada cada pieza, procedo a elaborar los sombreros. Comenzando en el area de los laterales, uniendo en total cuatro piezas. Luego coloque por el reves dos pares de piezas y pase costura en toda la circunferencia de la parte de arriba, lo voltee al derecho y pase nuevamente costura por la misma area, dandole mas firmeza y un lindo acabado.

Once my skirt is finished, I move on to making the blouse. I start by sewing each pair of pieces together: the two front pieces and the two back pieces. Then I add a lining inside for the straps.Continue making the shorts-style overalls, which would represent the men's version.
To do this, I take the two pieces, front and back, and sew a seam along the crotch area, joining the two pieces. When I place the straps, I place the piece with the strap cover right side up, turning it right side out, and sew another seam on top, securing it.

Continue realizando el overol estilo short, que representaría al masculino. Para ello tomo las dos piezas, delantero con trasero y paso una costura en la zona del tiro, uniendo ambas piezas.
A la hora de colocar los tirantes coloque revés con revés la pieza con el cubretirantes, asegurandome que quedara bien unicado el elastico (tirante), lo volteo al derecho y aplico nuevamente otra costura encima, dandole firmeza.

I continue joining both pieces along the sides and unraveling the entire bottom, simulating modern, tube-cut pants with ribbing at the legs.
For the skirt-style jumpsuit, I apply the same procedure. Unlike the men's one, I fold it up and add a decorative pink ribbon, giving it a romantic and flirty touch.

Continuo uniendo por los laterales ambas piezas y deshilando toda la parte de abajo, simulando un pantalon moderno, corte tubo, ripiado en las patas.
Para el overol estilo falda, aplico el mismo procedimiento, a diferencia del masculino, realice un dobladillo hacia arriba y coloque una cinta rosada decorativa, dandole un toque romántico y coqueto.
