Today I share with you the drawing of a gentleman in pixel art style, where I will be sharing some techniques that I usually implement when making my drawings in this style, starting with pixels with the help of some tools that will make the process easier.

El día de hoy les comparto el dibujo de un caballero al estilo pixel Art, donde les estaré compartiendo algunas técnicas que suelo implementar a la hora de hacer mis dibujos en este estilo, comenzando por píxeles con la ayuda de algunas herramientas que me facilitaran el proceso.

First I started making some geometric figures creating the silhouette of my character, using circles and squares, thanks to this I can make the first part of the silhouette of my drawing, the position in which this drawing is in profile and in turn I wanted to make it as if he were jumping to attack an enemy.
Then, with the help of the sketch of the geometric figure, I began to make little by little the silhouette of my character, creating the armor, shield and sword, in this way I could make the first part of my drawing.

Primero comencé realizando unas figuras geométricas creando la silueta de mi personaje, usando círculos y cuadrados, gracias a ello podre realizar la primera parte de la silueta de mi dibujo, la posición en la que se encuentra este dibujo es de perfil y a su vez lo quise hacer como si estuviera saltando para atacar a un enemigo.
Después, con la ayuda del boceto de la figura geométrica, comencé a realizar poco a poco la silueta de mi personaje, creando la armadura, escudo y espada, de esta manera pude realizar la primera parte de mi dibujo.

When I finished creating the silhouette of my character, I deleted the previous layer of the geometric figure to be able to leave in view only the silhouette of my character, then I used a magic wand tool to be able to mark some pixels that should not be in a drawing of this style, since you can see that the drawing does not look good, and it is about the pixels that are protruding in the small squares that you see in red in the first capture at the top of this text.
You will be able to notice that in the second image all the silhouette of my character is full of these squares of red color, where once having marked all the protruding pixels, press only one button to be able to eliminate them, the process that takes more time is to select all the pixels that are protruding, already we will be able to notice a clear difference to the drawing where in one you see all the protruding pixels to the other one that is much cleaner.

Al terminar de crear la silueta de mi personaje, elimine la capa anterior de la figura geométrica para poder dejar a la vista solamente la silueta de mi personaje, después use una herramienta de barita mágica para poder margar algunos píxeles que no deberían de estar en un dibujo de este estilo, ya que se puede apreciar que el dibujo no se ve bien, y se trata de los píxeles que están sobresalientes en los pequeños cuadrados que ves de color rojo en la primera captura en la parte superior de este texto.
Podrán notar que en la segunda imagen toda la silueta de mi personaje está llena de estos cuadros de color rojo, donde una vez haber marcado todos los píxeles sobresalientes, pulse tan solo un botón para poderlos eliminar, el proceso que más toma su tiempo es al seleccionar todos los píxeles que están sobresalientes, ya podremos notar una clara diferencia al dibujo donde en una se ven todos los píxeles sobresalientes a la otra que está mucho más limpia.

Finally, it was time to add value to my drawing, so I used gray for the armor of my character, then yellow to create the light in the eyes and red for the shield and the cape that this character has.
Next, I began to add the shadows of this armor, for it I used the dark gray color, done that I also began to add the brightness of some parts of the armor, so I used the white color to be able to create this brightness, this way I already have all my character valorized, now only a part is missing to make that my drawing is appreciated much better, and it is to eliminate the pixels of black color that are in all the silhouette of my character.

Finalmente, había llegado el momento de valorizar mi dibujo, así que use el color gris para la armadura de mi personaje, después amarillo para crear la entrada de luz en los ojos y rojo para el escudo y la capa que este personaje posee.
Seguidamente, comencé a agregar las sombras de esta armadura, para ello use el color gris oscuro, hecho eso comencé también a agregar el brillo de algunas partes de la armadura, así que use el color blanco para poder crear este brillo, de esta manera ya tengo todo mi personaje valorizado, ahora solo falta una parte para hacer que mi dibujo se aprecie mucho mejor, y es eliminar los píxeles de color negro que se encuentran en toda la silueta de mi personaje.

In order to eliminate those black pixels that I used as guide lines in the silhouette of my character, I use a much darker color to the base, that is to say, as the case of the layer, if the layer is red, the pixel of the silhouette of the layer will be much darker red than the shading, this way I create a different tone for this part of the drawing.
So I continue with the same process with the silhouette of the rest of the armor and the shield, you can totally notice the difference now of my character, which looks very different and better.

Para poder eliminar esos píxeles de color negro que use como líneas guías en la silueta de mi personaje, use un color mucho más oscuro a la base, es decir, como el caso de la capa, si la capa es de color rojo, el pixel de la silueta de la capa será de color rojo mucho más oscuro al del sombreado, de esta manera creo un tono diferente para esta parte del dibujo.
Así que continúe con el mismo proceso con la silueta del resto de la armadura y el escudo, podrán notar totalmente la diferencia ahora de mi personaje, el cual se ve muy diferente y mejor.
