Hola gente creativa de esta comunidad!! Hoy les traigo otro proyecto de reciclaje. Otra vez, utilizando cartón y papel, haremos un nombre.
Este es el segundo proyecto que hago para la misma clienta. Resulta que está decorando una habitación para su bebé en casa de los abuelos de la niña y quiere que sea exactamente igual a la que tiene en su propia casa
Motivo por el cual tuve que hacer otro "Victoria" semejante al que hice anteriormente.
Este trabajo es bastante simple, solo haremos el nombre de la niña. El único elemento distintivo es que sobre las íes en lugar de un punto, irá una estrellita de mar.
Otro rasgo distintivo es que forraremos las letras con un papel reutilizado teñido a mano.
Este papel es material de desecho de una imprenta que está cerca de casa. Es muy fino, parecido al papel de seda, pero su resistencia permite mojarlo para su teñido con tintes de ropa de diferentes colores. En el proceso de secado adquiere unas vetas que le dan una linda apariencia.

Hello creative people of this community! Today I bring you another recycling project. Again, using cardboard and paper, we will make a name.
This is the second project I do for the same client. It turns out that she is decorating a room for her baby at the girl's grandparents' house and she wants it to look exactly like the one she has in her own home.
That's why I had to make another "Victoria" similar to the one I did before.
This work is quite simple, we will only make the name of the girl. The only distinctive element is that over the I's instead of a dot, there will be a little starfish.
Another distinctive feature is that we will line the letters with a reused hand-dyed paper.
This paper is scrap material from a printing press near our home. It is very thin, similar to tissue paper, but its strength allows it to be dampened for dyeing with different colored clothing dyes. In the drying process it acquires veins that give it a nice appearance.
Without further ado, I leave you the list of materials.
Necesitaremos:
- Cartón corrugado grueso que mida 50 x 30 cm o más.
- Pegamento (cola blanca)
- Papel (reutilizado blanco)
- Material para forrar el cartón (papel artesanal, papel texturizado, fomi, fieltro, tela u otro) yo utilizaré el reutilizado teñido.
- Moldes
- Lápiz
- Regla
- Cúter(una cuchilla y uno de presición)
- Tijera
- Pinturas acrílicas (rosa claro, malva, azul claro, verde y aqua)
- Barniz acrílico
- Pinceles y pinceleta
We will need:
- Thick corrugated cardboard measuring 50 x 30 cm or more.
- Glue (white glue)
- Paper (reused white)
- Material to cover the cardboard (handmade paper, textured paper, fomi, felt, fabric or other) I will use the dyed reused one.
- Molds
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Cutter (one blade and one precision cutter)
- Scissors
- Acrylic paints (light pink, mauve, light blue, green and aqua)
- Acrylic varnish
- Brushes and paintbrush
Ante todo forraremos el cartón por ambas caras con papel blanco reutilizado. Extendemos una capa de pegamento blanco y cubrimos con el papel.Con la ayuda de los moldes marcaremos y calaremos cada letra.
First of all we will line the cardboard on both sides with reused white paper. We spread a layer of white glue and cover with the paper. With the help of the molds we will mark and trace each letter.
Ahora volvemos a forrar cada letra con el papel teñido, según el color que corresponda. Un vez seco, recortamos el sobrante.
Now we cover each letter again with the dyed paper, according to the corresponding color. Once dry, cut off the excess.
Posteriormente cubriremos los bordes expuestos del cartón con tiras de papel artesanal previamente cortadas. Y después pintamos con acrílico que combine con el papel teñido. Para un mejor acabado daremos a todas las letras una mano de barniz transparente.
Subsequently we will cover the exposed edges of the cardboard with strips of handmade paper previously cut. Then we paint with acrylic paint to match the dyed paper. For a better finish we will give all the letters a coat of clear varnish.
Como el nombre será para poner en la pared de la habitación pondremos por la parte de atrás de cada letra pedazos de cinta de doble contacto.
As the name will be to put on the wall of the room we will put on the back of each letter pieces of double-sided tape.
