Hoy me hicieron un encargo de una torta en forma de jarra cervecera, cuando ví la imagen de referencia en seguida pensé en realizar los Toppers que complementan la decoración de la torta así que me puse manos a la obra.
Este proceso puede realizarse con cualquier figura para convertirla en Toppers, por tal motivo hoy les comparto este tutorial para que vean lo fácil que es elaborarlos.

Today I was commissioned to make a cake in the shape of a beer mug, when I saw the reference image I immediately thought of making the toppers that complement the cake decoration so I got down to work.
This process can be done with any figure to turn it into Toppers, so today I share with you this tutorial so you can see how easy it is to make them.

El tirro doble cara puede sustituirse por foami , ya que da el mismo efecto de relieve en los Toppers
- Printing
- Black cardboard
- Blue cardboard
- Gold cardboard
- Double-sided sticker
- Liquid silicone
- Sticks of height
The double-sided stickers can be replaced by foami, as they give the same relief effect on the Toppers.
Lo primero que haremos es recortar las figuras, a éstas se les puede dejar un borde de 2 milímetros o recortarlas a justo por el borde de cada imagen, en esta ocasión yo he dejado un pequeño borde.
The first thing to do is to cut out the figures, you can leave a border of 2 millimeters or cut them just along the edge of each image, in this case I have left a small border.
Fíjense lo simple que se ven estás imágenes, ahora empezaremos a darles mejor aspecto con las cartulinas 😁
Una vez que hemos recortado las figuras, agregamos el tirro doble cara, tratando de cubrir los bordes ya que esto ayudará a darle un relieve entre la figura y la primera capa de cartulina.
Sino tienen tirro doble cara, también pueden pegarle tiras de foami.
Notice how simple these images look, now we will start to give them a better look with the cardstock 😁.
Once we have cut out the figures, we add the double-sided tape, trying to cover the edges as this will help to give a relief between the figure and the first layer of cardboard.
If you don't have double-sided paper, you can also glue strips of foami.
Seguidamente, agregue silicón líquido a la cartulina azul para pegarla de la cartulina negra, dejando un borde en cada cartulina para crear un lindo contraste.
Next, add liquid silicone to the blue cardstock to glue it to the black cardstock, leaving a border on each card to create a nice contrast.
En este paso también se puede realizar con el tirro doble cara para darle mayor volumen a la imagen pero a mí gusto queda mejor así.
In this step it can also be done with the double-sided strips to give more volume to the image, but to my taste it looks better this way.
Hasta este punto, tenemos las figuras y dos capas se cartulinas, dejando un respectivo borde en cada capa. Ya así estás figuras se ven hermosas pero agregando una capa más de cartulina se verán súper mejor.
Cómo está es la última capa de cartulina que voy a colocar, agrego más tierno doble cara en los bordes y en el centro, es momento también de agregar el palito de altura, en esta ocasión estoy utilizando un palito de metal , seguidamente pegamos en la cartulina dorada y recortamos dejando también un pequeño borde.
At this point, we have the figures and two layers of cardstock, leaving a border on each layer. Already this way these figures look beautiful but adding one more layer of cardboard will make them look even better.
As this is the last layer of cardboard that I am going to place, I add more double-sided tender on the edges and in the center, it is also time to add the height stick, this time I am using a metal stick, then we glue on the golden cardboard and cut leaving also a small border.
Y así queda el resultado final de estos Toppers, sin duda esto le da otro nivel a las tortas , dándole mayor vistosidad, de este modo combino dos de mis pasiones; la repostería y las manualidades 🥰
And so is the final result of these toppers, no doubt this gives another level to the cakes, giving it more colorful, thus combining two of my passions; baking and crafts 🥰.
