Estuve analizando durante mucho si el tablón de aglomerado de mi mesa de escritorio serviría para hacer lo que tenía es mente. Esta es la primera vez que me atrevo a cortar madera de este tipo, además de eso este tablón tenía un pequeño detalle y es que cuando recientemente lo había comprado: se quebró casi a la altura de la mitad; quien lo reparó fue mi papá con pegamento y unas maderitas que se ven por debajo, y así duró durante muchísimos años sin quebrarse nuevamente.
I had been considering for a long time whether the particle board of my office desk would work for what I had in mind. This is the first time I dared to cut wood of this type, and on top of that, this board had a small detail: when I had recently bought it, it broke almost in the middle; my dad repaired it with glue and some small pieces of wood underneath, and it lasted for many years without breaking again.
Mi suegro le regaló un esqueleto de mesa para computadora a mi esposo y entre tantas obligaciones siempre olvidaba armarla o pedirle a alguien más que hiciera el trabajo de hacerlo. Yo le propuse utilizar la tabla del escritorio para armarlo y él se negó porque al igual que yo pensaba que probablemente esa madera de aglomerado no funcionaría para eso.

My daughter asked me if I was sure about what I was doing, to which I replied yes and that I had to hurry because it's a surprise for your dad. Con la llave ajustable le quitaremos las patas y los ángulos a la mesa de escritorio.
Using the adjustable wrench, remove the legs and brackets from the office desk.
Debemos marcar las medidas y delimitar con un marcador las guías para hacer los cortes, y... A CORTAR!! 👩🔧😬🥽

La primera tabla en donde estará el monitor: midió 1m x 50cm, y utilicé como regla el soporte de la mesa.
The first board for the monitor measured 1m x 50cm, and I used the table support as a ruler.
Esta fue la primera tabla que corté y fijé.
This was the first board I cut and secured.
El segundo tablón en donde irá la impresora: mide 1m x25cm. Y es la tabla superior.
The second board for the printer measured 1m x 25cm. It is the top board.
El tercer tablón en donde va el teclado: mide 60x20cm
The third board for the keyboard measured 60x20cm.
La última es en la que va el CPU y el regulador: midió 96x25cm.
The last one is for the CPU and power strip: measured 96x25cm.
Solo ubiqué y encajé cada tabla al lugar en donde corresponden y con el destornillador eléctrico fijé cada tornillo a las tablas. Me costó un poco al principio, ya que necesité ayuda para fijar brindar estabilidad a las tablas; poder atornillarlas sin que se movieran, ya que si se movían mucho o había mucha inestabilidad, la madera de aglomerado terminaría por partirse.
I simply positioned and fit each board in its place and used an electric screwdriver to secure each screw to the boards. It was a bit challenging at first, as I needed help to provide stability to the boards and screw them in without them moving too much or being too unstable, as excessive movement or instability would cause the particle board to break.
