Por aquí me encuentro nuevamente compartiendo un artículo referente a la batería de BIOS. Creo que ya he hecho varios, pero si los revisan notarán que a pesar de que la causa es la misma, los síntomas son diferentes.
Ha llegado a mis manos una laptop Lenovo X131E con una falla que no dejaba ingresar al sistema operativo al usuario.

Over here I find myself again sharing an article concerning the BIOS battery. I think I have already done several, but if you review them you will notice that although the cause is the same, the symptoms are different.
I got my hands on a Lenovo X131E laptop with a failure that did not let the user enter the operating system.
Al ver este mensaje supe que el probelma estaba en los BIOS, así que apague la laptop y para darle vuelta e ingresar a la placa del computador.
Afortunadamente está laptop no era complicada para destapar y la batería de la BIOS estaba a simple vista.
When I saw this message I knew that the problem was in the BIOS, so I turned off the laptop and turned it over to get into the computer board.
Fortunately this laptop was not complicated to uncover and the BIOS battery was in plain sight.
Existen modelos de laptops que para ubicar la batería de la BIOS debemos desarmar completamente la laptop, uno de estos casos es el de las laptops canaimitas de Venezuela, esto nos hace perder más tiempo.

Al retirar la batería de la BIOS medi el voltaje para corroborar y en efecto, la batería marcaba 1.7 VDC, a pesar de que se prendió, la batería no agarró carga completa.
No hay otra opción, es necesario reemplazarla.

When I removed the battery from the BIOS I measured the voltage to check and indeed, the battery read 1.7 VDC, although it turned on, the battery did not take a full charge.

Introduje la batería nueva en la cubierta plástica donde estaba la dañada y le fuí haciendo presión miestras le colgaba pega de contacto por los bordes, de esta forma el cable hacia buen contacto en el interior de la cubierta.
Aquí pueden ver que funcionó, porque ya la batería nueva está en la cubierta y estoy midiendo por los contactos del cable los 3.3 VDC de la batería nueva.
I introduced the new battery in the plastic cover where the damaged one was and I was making pressure while I was hanging contact glue by the edges, this way the cable made good contact inside the cover.

Al colocar la batería de los BIOS volví a encender la laptop y ya podía accesar a la configuración de BIOS, que antes no me lo permitía.
Como verán aquí se ve la fecha y la hora desconfigurada, la ajusté a la fecha y hora actual.
Al reiniciarse la laptop, ingresó a Windows normalmente y con su fecha y hora actualizada.
When I inserted the BIOS battery I turned the laptop back on and I could now access the BIOS settings, which previously did not allow me to do so.
As you can see here the date and time is not configured, I set it to the current date and time.
When the laptop restarted, it entered Windows normally and with its date and time updated.
Asunto resuelto, le dí solución a esta falla de BIOS. Cabe destacar que el dueño tenía días intentando resolver y me dijo que vió varios vídeos tutoriales, pero en ninguno se vió que el problema lo generaba está batería.
Quizás no les conviene decir todos los secretos, pero como aquí estamos en la red social Hive, web3, donde podemos compartir nuestro conocimiento y de igual forma ser recompensados,yo sí sé los digo.
Si se les presenta una falla así y ya tiene varios años con su laptop sin saber sobre la existencia de esta batería, bueno, es momento de cambiarla y evitarse problemas como estos y muchos otros más.

Issue solved, I gave solution to this BIOS failure. It should be noted that the owner had days trying to solve and told me that he saw several video tutorials, but none of them showed that the problem was generated by this battery.

Excelente explicación con muchos datos técnicos. Sabes ue yo hice esto y aún así la batería no funcionó. Pero en otra laptop sí lo hizo... según yo conecté todo correctamente.

La mejor forma de cerciorarse que es la batería de BIOS la que está echando broma, es colocando una nueva, sí el problema persiste, entonces puede ser problema de configuración o error del sistema operativo.
