Un saludito caluroso desde mi amada Isla para toda la gente bella de esta comunidad de #hivediy estoy acá, una vez más con ustedes para mostrarles otra de mis creaciones.
En estos meses el trabajo me ha absorbido y por esta razón anhelo mucho que llegue el fin de semana para poder ir a la playa y relajarme viendo y disfrutando del mar, también quedarme hasta ver la hermosa puesta de sol.
Este fin de sema cuando llegué a la palaya me percaté que había unos pequeños caracoles casi idénticos y eso hizo que mi imaginación volara, recogí algunos con la idea de crear unos aretes para una ocasión informal y como vivimos en una isla rodeada de tantas playas lindas, de seguro que mis aretes se prestarán para varios eventos informales. Tan pronto llegué a la casa, puse manos a la obra y consideré que debía hacer un lindo conjunto de aretes y gargantilla.
Ahora les diré que materiales utilice y les mostrare paso a paso como los elaboré.

In these months the work has absorbed me and for this reason I long for the weekend to come so I can go to the beach and relax watching and enjoying the sea, also stay until I see the beautiful sunset.
This weekend when I arrived at the beach I noticed that there were some almost identical little snails and that made my imagination fly, I picked some with the idea of creating earrings for an informal occasion and since we live on an island surrounded by so many beautiful beaches I'm sure my earrings will lend themselves to various informal events. As soon as I got home, I got to work and figured I should make a cute set of earrings and a choker.
Now I will tell you what materials I use and I will show you step by step how I made them.

Lo primero que hago es agarrar los caracolitos que recogí en la playa y después de lavados con agua dulce y secados, agarro la cuchilla de maqueta y le corto un poquito las puntas con mucho cuidado que no se quiebren para poder pasarle el alambre con mayor facilidad.
The first thing I do is grab the little snails that I picked up on the beach and after washing them with fresh water and drying them, I grab the model knife and cut the ends a little bit, very carefully so that they don't break so I can pass the wire more easily.
Paso a hacer los ganchos de los aretes con el alambre de cobre, con ayuda de la pinza, dándole una forma redonda en uno de sus extremos para hay poder colgar los caracoles y el resto de los adornos que formarán el arete.
I am going to make the hooks of the earrings with the copper wire, with the help of the pliers, giving it a round shape at one of its ends so that we can hang the snails and the rest of the ornaments that will form the earring.
Terminado los ganchos me dispongo a realizar el diseño del arete, primero agarro la figura de nácar en forma de corazón y por el agujero comienzo a pasar el alambre de cobre y con ayuda de la pinza le doy vueltas para asegurarlo.

Paso por el mismo alambre las cuentas transparente y posteriormente el caracolito ya con la punta cortada y nuevamente colocamos otra cuenta trasparente, para cerrar hago como especie de un pequeño aro en ese extremo, al cual le doy vueltas con ayuda de la pinza para asegurarlo y poder posteriormente enlazar los dos aros, el del arete con el aro del extremo del gancho, de esta manera está listo y doy por concluido mi primer arete.

Pasando a realizar la misma operación con el otro arete para que los dos quede exactamente iguales. Aquí les muestro como quedaron mis lindos aretes de corazón.

Terminado mis aretes doy paso a realizar la gargantilla para poder terminar completamente el conjunto.
Agarro la estrella de nácar y le paso por el orificio el alambre de cobre, con ayuda de la pinza le doy vueltas para asegurarlo, posteriormente paso por el alambre una cuenta trasparente y detrás de ella el caracolito y otra cuenta trasparente, dando por terminado el adorno de la gargantilla, al cual le paso el cordón y ya está lista.
