【 PASO 1 】 Comencemos higienizando el material. En un dosificador coloca alcohol de uso médico y rocía de lejos la supervise del cartón, aproximadamente a 30 cm de distancia; luego pasa un paño seco y limpio por toda la superficie, no permitas que el cartón se humedezca demasiado, este paso es rápido, no esperes a que el cartón absorba la humedad.
【 STEP 1 】 Let's start by sanitizing the material. Pour medical alcohol into a spray bottle and spray the cardboard from a distance of approximately 30 cm. Then wipe the entire surface with a dry, clean cloth. Do not allow the cardboard to become too wet. This step is quick; do not wait for the cardboard to absorb the moisture.

【 PASO 2 】 A continuación marca a lo ancho y largo de toda la caja por sus 5 lados una línea que divida todo justo a la mitad. Esta es tu linea guía para cortar con el cutter; tomate tu tiempo para no maltratar el material y ayúdate con la regla para hacer los cortes lo más limpios posibles.
【 STEP 2 】 Next, mark a line across the width and length of the entire box on all 5 sides, dividing it exactly in half. This is your guide line for cutting with the cutter; take your time so as not to damage the material and use the ruler to help you make the cleanest cuts possible.

【 PASO 3 】 Así luce la caja una vez cortada, he reservado la parte superior (la mitad de la caja) para elaborar las tapas en el último paso de este proceso. En este momento puedes corregir el tamaño de las cajas por si las deseas menos altas o más angostas.
【 STEP 3 】 This is what the box looks like once it has been cut. I have kept the top part (half of the box) to make the lids in the last step of this process. At this point, you can adjust the size of the boxes if you want them to be shorter or narrower.

【 PASO 4 】 Mide el alto y el ancho de un lado de cada caja y replica esas medidas en parte del cartón reservado que cortaste al inicio (si no es suficiente puedes utilizar el material de otra caja). La manera de instalar esta nueva "pared" es forrando las esquinas-uniones con cinta adhesiva gruesa, y luego colocar una línea de pegamento por el lado interior en caso quieras reforzar dichas uniones. Espera unos 40 min a que todo seque.
【 STEP 4 】 Measure the height and width of one side of each box and replicate those measurements on the piece of cardboard you cut out at the beginning (if it's not big enough, you can use material from another box). To install this new “wall,” cover the corners and joints with thick adhesive tape, and then apply a line of glue to the inside if you want to reinforce those joints. Wait about 40 minutes for everything to dry.

【 PASO 5 】 Para terminar mide la parte superior de cada caja, su largo y su ancho, y replícalo en el cartón que reservamos. Para los lados de cada tapa has tiras de carton de entre 8 a 12 cm de grosor, y une todo con cinta adhesiva (fíjate en las fotos guía). A mí me gusta para terminar, reforzar todo con algo de pegamento, pero utilizando solo cinta adhesiva tambien obtendrás buenos resultados.
【 STEP 5 】 To finish, measure the top of each box, its length and width, and replicate it on the cardboard we set aside. For the sides of each lid, make cardboard strips between 8 and 12 cm thick, and join everything together with adhesive tape (see the guide photos). I like to finish by reinforcing everything with some glue, but you will also get good results using only adhesive tape.
