Bienvenidos una vez más a uno de mis trabajos de dibujo, en esta ocasión voy a realizar una ilustración la cual ya hace tiempo atrás le tenía muchas ganas porque mezcla todos estos temas de filosofía, reflexión y magia, también a mi parecer es una obra literaria y visual magnífica.
En esta ocasión el diseño se va a inspirar en El Principito, que es una obra corta escrita en la cual la historia es contada desde la perspectiva de un aviador varado en el desierto del Sahara
Me sorprendió mucho porque creí que todo giraba en torno al principito, el cual es un joven príncipe proveniente de un asteroide, pero a través de las experiencias del príncipe y sus viajes por diferentes planetas la historia explora temas profundos.
Podemos aprender de temas como la amistad, el amor, la perdida, la soledad, la critica a la sociedad adulta y la importancia de la imaginación y la infancia o al menos fueron esos fueron los temas que logré captar tanto en la obra escrita como en la obra audiovisual porque esta también cuenta con una pequeña película.
Comenzamos como ya es de costumbre y siempre será el primer paso de cualquier dibujo en el que crearé un esquema del personaje, primeramente para reflejar este punto he conseguido un ejemplo para ilustrarles una idea de a que me refiero.
Esquema de boceto
Este ejemplo no me pertenece, pero les dejo por acá para que tengan una idea más ilustrada, yo suelo explicarlo siempre, pero es mejor dar ejemplos más claros y visuales para acompañar el texto.
Primero comenzamos a aplicar la técnica del boceto que ya hemos repasado varias veces, la que consiste en círculos y líneas.
Por medio de la ubicación colocaremos ojos, boca, nariz y los demás elementos del personaje, al igual que sus ropas, así que hay que tener referencias para esta clase de obras cuando son personajes no originales y buscarlas si es posible que sean del propio artista.

Vamos a borrar todo el boceto o por lo menos es lo que suelo hacer para este paso para que los colores de los marcadores no se manchen con el grafito porque son a base de alcohol y eso los puede dañar.
Un detalle que destacar es que con los marcadores al momento de pasar suelen ocurrir 2 factores, el color se suele correr más de lo deseado y la hoja se humedece dejándola débil y con riesgos de romperse, por eso hay que tener cuidado.
Ya en este paso vamos a colorear cada zona con cuidado y como pueden apreciar el diseño del personaje es algo chibi porque este es uno de los estilos que más me agradan y que han visto y verán en la mayoría de mis obras, incluido cuando replico obras que veo de otros autores por ahí navegando en galerías de internet.

Una vez coloreado el personaje principal es el momento de los detalles y el paisaje, esta obra se centra en el espacio exterior, así que “debería” ser negro el fondo con estrellas, pero he decidido hacerlo en blanco en esta ocasión.

Suerte para mí que tenía los tonos necesarios para el atuendo en marcador, aunque esto no nos limita porque siempre podemos usar el ingenio. Entonces, primero marco las zonas delineando con sus respectivos colores para luego saber de qué color es cada parte.

Welcome once again to one of my drawing projects. This time, I'm going to create an illustration that I've been wanting to do for a while now because it combines all these themes of philosophy, reflection, and magic. I also think it's a magnificent literary and visual work.
This time, the design will be inspired by The Little Prince, a short written work in which the story is told from the perspective of an aviator stranded in the Sahara Desert.
I was very surprised because I thought it was all about the Little Prince, a young prince from an asteroid. But through the prince's experiences and travels across different planets, the story explores profound themes.

We begin as usual and it will always be the first step of any drawing in which I will create an outline of the character, firstly to reflect this point I have obtained an example to illustrate an idea of what I mean.
Sketch outline
This example is not mine, but I'm leaving it here so you can get a better idea. I usually explain it, but it's better to give clearer, more visual examples to accompany the text.
First we begin to apply the sketch technique that we have already reviewed several times, which consists of circles and lines.
Using location, we'll place the character's eyes, mouth, nose, and other elements, as well as their clothing. Therefore, we need to have references for this type of work when they're non-original characters, and if possible, look for references from the artist himself.

We're going to erase the entire sketch, or at least that's what I usually do for this step so that the marker colors don't get stained by the graphite because they're alcohol-based and that can damage them.
One detail worth noting is that with markers, two factors usually occur when applying: the color tends to run more than desired and the sheet becomes moist, leaving it weak and at risk of breaking, so you have to be careful.
Now in this step we are going to color each area carefully and as you can see the character design is somewhat chibi because this is one of the styles that I like the most and that you have seen and will see in most of my works, including when I replicate works that I see from other authors out there browsing internet galleries.

Once the main character is colored, it's time for the details and the landscape. This work focuses on outer space, so the background with stars "should" be black, but I decided to do it in white this time.

Luckily for me, I had the necessary shades for the outfit in marker, although this doesn't limit us because we can always get creative. So, I first mark the areas by outlining them with their respective colors so I can later figure out what color each part is.
