El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la elaboración de una cortina con cenefa sencilla que realicé para colocar en la ventana de mi habitación, las que tenía ya tenían bastante tiempo y estaban bastante deterioradas por el sol; así que ya le salía cambio, jejeje, realmente este es un proyecto que tenía desde el año pasado, había comprado la tela en un viaje que mi hermana realizó para la ciudad de Caracas, pero por diversas razones no había elaborado las cortinas .
Pero llegó el tiempo de hacerlas, porque aquellas estaban completamente deterioradas, así que, me puse a buscar modelos sencillos por internet porque quería hacerle una cenefa🫣 conseguí un modelo como en forma de triángulos en las puntas que fue el que me pareció más sencillo, por lo menos al principio, pero resulta que no era así; cuando comencé a elaborar las cortinas eran aproximadamente las 9 de la mañana y terminé casi a las 9 de la noche, jajajaja, fue realmente más trabajo del que pensé.
Es la primera vez que elaboro unas cortinas con cenefa, pero quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado, el color de las cortinas es rosado y el contraste con la cenefa que es un color fucsia en tela transparente, me parece que quedaron muy hermosas, el tiempo que más me llevó fue en hacer el dobladillo de la cenefa porque realmente lo que es la cortina en sí, la elaboré muy rápido porque solo le hice la costura en la parte superior por donde se va a introducir en el tubo y los dobladillos por los lados, realmente el tiempo que más me llevó creo que es por el tipo de tela porque no es muy fácil de coser, pero valió el tiempo que tuve que emplear porque el resultado de verdad me encantó ,quedé muy satisfecha, el color es hermoso y le da mucha iluminación a la habitación; les muestro rápidamente la elaboración de mi hermosa cortina con cenefa:

Today, I want to share with you the creation of a simple valance curtain I made to hang on my bedroom window. The ones I had were quite old and had become quite damaged by the sun. So, I was due for a replacement. Hehe. This is actually a project I've had since last year. I had bought the fabric on a trip my sister took to Caracas, but for various reasons, I hadn't made the curtains.
But the time came to make them, because those were completely worn out, so I started looking for simple patterns online because I wanted to make a valance. I found a pattern with triangles at the ends, which seemed the easiest, at least at first, but it turns out it wasn't. When I started making the curtains, it was around 9 in the morning, and I finished almost at 9 at night, hahaha, it was actually more work than I thought.
It is the first time that I make curtains with a valance, but I was very satisfied with the result, the color of the curtains is pink and the contrast with the valance which is a fuchsia color in transparent fabric, I think they turned out very beautiful, the time that took me the longest was to make the hem of the valance because really what is the curtain itself, I made it very quickly because I only did the seam on the top where it will go into the tube and the hems on the sides, really the time that took me the longest I think is because of the type of fabric because it is not very easy to sew, but it was worth the time I had to spend because I really loved the result, I was very satisfied, the color is beautiful and it gives a lot of light to the room; I quickly show you the making of my beautiful curtain with a valance:

Lo primero que hice fue tomar las medidas de la ventana, luego corté en la tela para la cortina, luego la cenefa la hice bastante más ancho que el largo de la cortina para poder cocerla que quedara bastante arruchadita y se viese más hermoso .
Luego hice los dobladillos por los lados de la cortina y lo que más me tomó tiempo como les comenté anteriormente, fue hacer el dobladillo de la cenefa; por último fijé la cenefa a la cortina en la parte superior con una costura recta.

Una vez listo, retiré la cortina anterior y coloqué en el tubo la nueva cortina, que para mí quedó muy hermosa a pesar de ser la primera que elaboro.
