Manihot esculenta is an annual plant. Its green, beautiful leaves make it a natural weed suppressor. Planted for its ability to withstand harsh environments, it is often cultivated in Western Africa. Locally fermented to produce garri and fufu, it is a plant of many uses. Garri knows no class—neither for the poor nor the rich. I love this plant for its value and importance. Today, it is even used to produce bread 🍞.

Thanks for visiting guys, see you next time.
