I am working only on mobile phone.

  1. When you take a photo using the "New observation" "Take photo" option in the iNaturalist app, either from the menu on the top left or directly from the green circle with the cross on the bottom right, you need to have GPS enabled on your phone. Once you have added the photo, the message "Finding current location" will appear and when the coordinates appear, you can save it.

  2. When you make an observation via "Select image" then "Import photos from..." appears, you select the photo, add it and then click on "Location" and a map with a "sight" appears.
Then just find where you took the photo and save it.

  1. You can edit old observations by clicking on the pencil icon at the top right. This will open the observation, then click in the location box and a map with a "sight" will appear.
Then just find the place where you took the photo and save it.
