I am returning to this beloved community today to share some photos of a wild mushroom that caught my eye. It was growing on a decaying oil palm tree; I approached it and captured images from several different angles.

I believe this type of mushroom usually grows in clusters,
though the specific one I found was growing in isolation rather than in a group. However, I have seen this same type of mushroom growing in clusters on decaying trees on other occasions.
